Is Nick going to be in New York this weekend?  New York Fashion Week starts tomorrow, just curious if he would be attending any events since he has been trying out modeling?  I don't know what its all about, but modeling and fashion go hand in hand.

JMO, but Nick appears to be at a crossroads in his life right now.  His quest to find the right girl has not been fruitful in a forever kind of way just yet.  So while he has yet to open the right door for romance, it seems that life has opened an adventurous new door with the fashion modeling world for him.  I am a believer in providence, so it seems an incredible blessing for him to step into something new and exciting.

He seems to approach a new challenge with the mind set of "do it right or don't do it at all".  And by "do it right", I think that he values quality over quantity.  So when applying this mindset to his modeling gig, this means that he has a whole new world to learn and master.  He seems to be quite the natural at taking a good photo, but he would likely have to learn how the rest of that world works being a newbie and all.

I see him testing out the waters with his IG account and new website... Trying to see how his "life in the spotlight" everyday is going to feel. And trying to gauge if he is going to be any good at blogging, modeling and fashion.  And by "good", I don't just mean can he post well written, insightful things and take great photos.  To me (and I think to Nick), "good" means that his well written and insightful pieces are read by fans and actually change people's lives for the better.  "Good" means that his great photos are actually useful to a designer or fashion magazine.  "Good" means that there is quality work, not just quantity.  

He really seems to be trying to make up his mind where his focus should go and if he can do all of it well... Balancing modeling, blogging, travel, his day job and "regular life" would be quite the task.  He seems to be trying to do it all... Have his cake and eat it too.  But isn't that everyone's dream?

I guess it remains to be seen if he has what it takes to be a successful model, blogger or fashion guru.  Only time will tell.  But, I do know that when Nick puts his mind to something, he really gives it his all.  Go big or go home.  Determination is the beginning of many good stories.  I hope this one ends with a happy ending for Nick.  I hope that he does get it all.  And why not throw in "the girl" for good measure while I'm at it.
