OTOH, why does Nick need a verified account in Instagram's eyes when there are probably hundreds, if not thousands of celebrities (actors, musicians, athletes, etc.) who have far more followers but aren't verified? That's what made me fishy of the whole thing to begin with because there's no way I believe Nick was high of Instagram's to-do list in terms of verifying accounts unless there was a push to make it happen. All JMO as always.

There is a trick to it, but I must have done it correctly as I now have 5 stars under my name. So I must be a star(in someone's eyes!)

I clearly will never be verified because I've never had some impersonate me. It's okay though, my friends and family still see me as a special snowflake.

Nick's verified account doesn't affect my life in any way, shape, or form, so I'm good.

So Nick either got his IG account verified because he is special and IG initiated it or he got it verified because he is special and IG agreed with Nick/someone else initiating it?

Either way, IG verified Nick's account.

Like Nibbles said, it doesn't affect my life that he is verified.

No one's social media verification (except my own, giant there) will ever affect my life in any way shape or form. I just find it really fishy that he somehow got it verified when there are many, many more who should be verified before him. It's kinda like when people buy social media followers and you sniff it out as fishy. Like I'm imagining the convo being, "You know that guy who got dumped twice on The Bachelorette the last two seasons? Yeah he totally needs to be verified."

Well, I'm not looking to sniff stuff out on Nick or anyone else. That's exhausting, so I'm still good.

I'm pretty sure getting verified is who you know and being verified means you are a special snowflake. So Nick's a special snowflake (I knew this all along) and now I am too!

Nothing that any of these people, from Bachnation, do or say or don't do or don't say affects me.  That does not mean I won't post my thoughts or opinions of anyone that goes on the show.  

Last I checked, this was the general discussion thread so, any of us can post anything...good, bad, happy, sad, fishy or not, etc. about whoever's name thread is in the thread title as long as we're respectful to each other (regardless of whether we agree, disagree or agree to disagree   ).  I mean isn't that the point of the forum.. to sleuth and discuss everything?

Personally, I don't have the time or energy to "hate" anyone from this franchise, Nick included. It's just when I have an opinion about his actions or a questionable tactic, I'm going to voice it. All well within the rules.

I'm just here spewing a few facts which came directly from Insta. Can't imagine spewing anger and hate at a guy that I only "know" through a reality tv show I sometimes watch. But hey - that's just me. 

Maybe the topic tomorrow can be why Nick doesn't have a verified Twitter account! Sean, Catherine, MeAndI and Josh all have them. Heck, even toolbag Chris Bukowski has one so I guess it's not that prestigious. IMHO. Twitter does state they allow folks that have brands to promote to have a verified account. Guess Nick isn't selling anything via Twitter. IMHO.
