I see it in the analogy of a "rock star" and a member of a "boy band" ... the perception of the rock star living the rock'n'roll life (with all the history of excess that brings) ... and the "clean image" of a boy band who sing about love, women and how to treat them right ... and then behind the curtain they have their own demons and problems to fight (no different than the rock star) ...

Nick gave the insight into his own "problems" (insecurities and flaws) with his "rock star" desire in the questionnaire for Bette10 season ... and his edit was a perfect representation of that "take no prisoners and beat his own drum" approach (so I don't feel the need to actually blame the editors for this "monster") and I prefer much rather to know before hand who I'm dealing with ... so I don't have a feeling I've been fooled by him.
If anything rock'n'roll history has taught me is ... that sometimes those "wild boys" are puppies in comparison to the boy-band lambs.

***I've edited and deleted a few posts. Please refrain from making negative remarks about other cast in this thread. When other cast are brought up in a negative way, what happens is those fans are going to want to defend them and then non-fans are going to want to respond back and then it becomes a debate between fans and non-fans about the cast member who was criticized instead of whom the topic is supposed to be about. It is possible to defend your favorite without bringing other cast into your defense. We've had to edit and delete posts in this thread and lock it several times. Let's keep this thread on topic. Thank you.

I don't mind my post being edited, but maybe people should avoid calling any cast member "universally loved", when there is no such thing. JMO.

Is there any where on the site that we CAN compare and contrast cast members? I think many of the people who do this show have similar personality traits, making it interesting to discuss. IMO I refrain since I think that is against the rules….is that correct?

We have enough with moderating this thread with the baiting etc.
When we discuss, we discuss opinions.
Opinions.
It's ok not to agree with an opinion.
What's not ok is when emotionally the line is crossed from cast and opinions to the members voicing.
One member's view of _________ is not another's. In fact, it may be interpreted to be a different couple completely. Then sticks and stones and barbs are thrown out.
This is simply moaa.

As we are entering another season, as well as Bachelorette Australia being in full swing, we will not waste our time editing posts, especially in this thread. I completely agree with the bolded. The mounting "evidence" of evil Nick is very vague and fact free, just rumors and innuendos with nothing concrete to back it up. He's not perfect but NO ONE is. It is called being human. Some people just handle being human better than others in owning what they do and believe in and making amends when/if needed to mistakes that inevitably occur throughout life. I happen to think Nick fall into the 'better" group on how to manage being human.

Can you just imagine either of them dating her? Insta-dads to 3 kiddos, joining the next season of filming? If they thought Andi was high maintence they'd be in for a rude awaking being associated with that family, in any way! Even better, Kourt going to visit the farm and small town Iowa? Can you imagine how fast she'd drop Chris and head out of town? Now, that might be an episode I'd actually be interested in watching. rofl

This is why it's so important to post IMO when posting opinions. We have seen posters usernames mentioned in articles, so if you don't want to be bombarded with PM's by hungry reporters who promise the world for info, then I suggest as always, be very aware of your opinion.
