Hey guys;)
I was completely MIA for the past season, (a decision I am very content with in retrospective;), but from the little I have seen of Ben he seems to be a cutie. The promos look interesting enough too, so it seems I'll be back for the shenanigans this season(just to watch, though;).
Now, I never turned in for a season completely on the blind, so I would like to get a bit of a feel for/of
Ben. Since he seemed to have been very well liked last season, is there a specific scene/date/episode that you guys would recommend to me that showcases some of the reasons why people think so highly of Ben? It doesn't have to be a date. (The less I see of Kait the better. :Nod: ) I was gonna check out his HTD for sure, anything else 'noteworthy'?

All of his 1 on 1 dates honestly. And the sex Ed group date, where he got the group date rose. The sex ex date is episode 3. His first 1 on 1 is episode 5. His second 1 on 1 is episode 8. And his overnight date is episode 9. I'll link you to some YouTube clips:)chloep wrote:Hey guys;)

Thank you for the links as I didn't watch Kaitlyn's season either and had no idea what Ben was like other than the little I have seen of him since. Now I can do a little catch up.

Ben never had a HTD but these 2 events of Ben were what made me like Ben and think he may be a good lead for the US franchise.chloep wrote: snipped

Ben really shined on that date and showed how well he relates to kids/is a good role model for those younger than him. It was on that group date that Ben came across much more mature than most of the other guys on the show (even though he was one of the youngest ones, 25 at the time). I especially liked how classy Ben was talking about sex to kids. :Nod:
2. Ben calling out Kaitlyn in a respectful way and telling her he doesn't want to "spin his wheels" with her.
This was in relation to when Kaitlyn spent off-camera time in Ben and Shawn's room and Ben was away in the shower and said something happened between K&S and he later approached her about it. My dislike for Kaitlyn aside, I liked how Ben approached the subject and let it be known that while he is a nice guy, he was not going to just spin his wheels. It made him come across more genuine to me and showed me he could think for himself and not be just a puppet.
