On Periscope she said she met a perfect man this summer who has all the qualities she wants in a man and who is the type of guy she wants to marry and it was hinted that she was referring to Ben by her reaction when people brought up his name, as well as her melancholy Facebook/Instagram quotes today and also on the day he was announced as Bachelor, however it's not confirmed that she was talking about him.

It's pretty messed up to dump someone to compete for one person with 25+ others. She probably wants go transition from VA news to Enews, just sayin. She's 23 so....

Exactly. This happens ALL the time. Anything to be on TV!

Well, I'm pretty sure she's not the first or only one to dump someone to go on the show.  Nor will she be the last, as long as the show continues to air it'll happen from time to time.

Can't say it's wise or that I agree, but it's better than having someone at home your dating while on the show.  JMHO.

That's why relationships on this show rarely work. I'd say the majority of contestants are only on for the fun and fame of it. It doesn't take a genius to see that former contestants are making money promoting anything and getting into parties. And if their edit turns out really good they even have a shot at being the next bachelor/bachelorette and they all know that. From what we've seen of Ben, he seems like a great guy. I'd love to date him but I'd never go on TV to do so because my skin isn't thick enough to deal with the scrutiny that comes along with it. I can guarantee you that there are thousands of women out there that would be a great fit for him that also don't want to go on TV. In other words, if he really wants to find a good women, IMO he would have had a better chance off camera.

Wow, so far one contestant dumped her boyfriend, the other one has been divorced twice (maybe not be her fault?), then there is a dark secret that Becca doesn't know and she's going to be blindsided, and Amber, I don't even know why she's there.....the way things are starting out, Ben might end up with Jorge the bartender.

Well, there are 25 girls- there's gotta be like 3-5 normal girls in there for us to root for.
