Like I mentioned a little while back, there were more christians than usual that made it to the final casting sessions. Was also told that one of the final 50 used to have a thing with a current Dallas Stars player. I know which player, but I don't know the name of the girl, or the name of any other girl in the final 50, for that matter. Other than that, I wasn't told anything else.

Count me firmly on the "no retread" side

Tenley would be the worst - way too much time in Bach Nation. Tenley would also ruin the find love premise of this show - she had a shot with Ben, if there was "something" there, why not just date and both stay off the show?

I am "still hoping" for a return to a more simple straightforward show - yes, some drama fun in the first line up but at least 5 decent "matches". Less of the sob story, less of the models, actress, and please no retreads

This tweet from Becca is from the weekend where she didn't meet up with Jared. Perhaps she didn't meet up with him because she got word that she was going to be on Ben's season?

Sadly. much as it is apparent that none of us on this board are for retreads, TPTB do otherwise.
They seem to think that it is an exciting twist to the current season. Whereas prior appearances were merely amusing (ChrisB) and there for the drama (shawntel / the F4 from Ben's season), IMO the most recent retreat left a very bad taste in most folks mouth because it was even more poorly done and disrespectful to just about everyone.

"They" have already hinted that there are interested retreads so the chances are very high that we will get one if not more.

The newbies better either get used to it or get their claws sharpened.

The show has certain formulas they use to create ratings. It's as simple as that.
It could be past cast poking their heads in for various storyboarding: dating advice, dating spice or conflict.
It could be same type dates or locales.
If it's worked, it has a good chance of being repeated.

Yes I fear retreads will be on board....how else to create the now much used line "Most shocking xx ever"...."You won't believe what happens when..." LOL

Even though I am all for no more retreads unfortunately TPTB will likely do what they always do - make the most dramatic show ever.

IMO the latest retread contributed to successful ratings, which is all they care about. Previous retreads didn't last long, unlike this past season where they were brought to the F2. I wouldn't be surprised if Becca or Tenley returns and are taken to F2 once again since it brought in the ratings the last time an they were both F2's themselves.

IMO that would be an exact repeat of last year which automatically makes it less exciting.

Mary was a retread way back before returnees were even popular and if I remember right, did not join because she was into the lead but just to give her a second chance.
She ended up as F1.

We haven't seen the cast yet but I just don't see Ben ending up with Tenley (or any returnee). Tenley initiated this whole Ben/Tenley thing despite knowing his plans to be TB. If they are only talking as friends now it's probably nothing more than a one-sided crush.
