Kaitlyn Bristowe - Shawn Booth - Bachelorette 11 - General Discussion

Nick has done more than once to support various charitable works, homeless, breast cancer, leukemia, children of lost heroes, etcetera. But this is OT, sorry. Can't help defending this guy. Back to Shawn, I hope this is just a beginning of him using his popularity to support causes he believes in. I would also like to see Kaitlyn doing something worthy while.

So far has Shawn done any other charities other than this one since filming wrapped?

Because if not, it is interesting to me that this is his first one since filming ended and he had to include Nick in it as well (and Nick has been doing other charities in that timeframe on his own).

It would be interesting to see what charities/causes Shawn has been involved in on his own since filming wrapped. Same for Kaitlyn.

Anyone can do a one-off thing (especially with lots of followers), but I have yet to see a history of doing things for great causes with these two. Hopefully this will not be the last one and is not just a PR move on their part.

Love seeing Kaitlyn, Shawn, Whitney and Cupcake out having fun and loving life. Awesome pic.

I saw Kait and Shawn's snapchats from yesterday/last night and their Thriller dance was very good. When they do those dance sequence snaps and she goes first and then he copies her, I'm always surprised at a) how good he remembers all the moves and b) how good he is! I assume he's never taken lessons, but he has natural rhythm in any case he does very well. This is my favorite Kaitlyn and Shawn—having fun but not excess drunk and not rude to fans. I hope we all get to see more of this couple!!  Jmo.

In another one of my insomniac moments last night, I happened upon an Instagram account, @rawbeautytalks started by one of Kaitlyn's friends. Their bio states "We start conversations about beauty and advocate for transparency in the media."  I absolutely love this!!

I literally (haha <- correct use of the word—huge irk lately due to all of the "kids" misusing it soooooo much) don't follow many people on SM. I'll search when I'm curious or nosy, but I really don't do much with IG and might not even have it except for my daughters and nieces and I haven't been on my Twitter account since 2013 or 14 except to snoop for the show. Anyway, after glancing through @rawbeautytalks' account I had to follow them because I saw so many empowering posts for young women especially that are trying to find their way in this "look at me" age they live in (we live in?) but honestly it is super empowering to all ages of women and I wanted to share this find with y'all. I recommend checking it out and following along too if you would like to help give your SM lives a little more "natural balance".

As an aside—Kaitlyn has a number of very entrepreneurial friends in Vancouver and area. Maybe once things settle down for her and Shawn, we will see something interesting from her or both of them.

I don't really know where to post this—it is a topic that is frequently discussed in many different threads here, including this one when speculating on what former cast members earn for SM product placement and promotion and what is involved.

Looks like K&S are at CMAs on the red carpet and Millsy tweeted about bachelornation being there.

Is this the first official BachNation mention where K&S are at?

Interesting if so, considering how Shawn "teamed" up with Nick....

I saw that Carly is there too. So looks like no more bad blood between K&S and TPTB.

It's very interesting timing that is for sure.

I'm not that surprised. I expected to see them at something arranged by the franchise. They may not be their favorites but I think TPTB are selfish and care more about publicity at the end of the day.
