Kaitlyn has been so ungracious post-show, it's really hard to like her more admirable traits.
The way in which they both treated Nick (like him or not) spoke volumes about this couple. And it's not great.
And I really cannot get past the responses they have had toward their trolls. They've really stooped to a low level.
Mix all of the above with the fact that they are just....well.... boring.

Yeah, I agree that as long as they stay on the same page, they will be ok. I have no clue if that will always be the case, but like all these other couples time will tell. I prefer to root for success stories since we have had so few with this franchise.

Well I do like happy endings and weddings out of this show, so yeah, I do care if they marry. Especially after the 3 back to back break ups. I enjoy rooting for the Bachelorettes in general, not sure why but I'm always a little more invested.

I don't know the dynamics of their relationship and SM isn't the best indicator, so who knows how healthy or unhealthy it is. We probably won't fully know anyway. Unless they do Couples Therapy .

But why should we root for a success just for a success?! These are real people living their real lives. And if it is dysfunctional it is not healthy IMO.

I'll admit that I don't care for them because of my own personal distaste for what I perceive as the dynamics of their relationship. I just can't imagine myself respecting or being attracted to a man who just went along with whatever I said or did and I can't imagine any man (or woman) with an ounce of self-respect putting up with such a relationship. Shawn just seems like a lapdog to me instead of a man and I'm just not into that at all. As I've said before, this is just the vibe I've gotten about their relationship, not something I can prove and I may be wrong here, but even a couple of their fans have joked about Kaitlyn getting her way so I don't feel I'm too off-base here. Perhaps they really are happy with this arrangement and it works for them. It's just personally distasteful to me.

Like many others I also don't care for how nasty they are towards people who criticize them. Say what you will about Becca or Nick, but they are always nice and joke back to their haterz and some of them have even changed their minds about them because of how nice they were. There's a reason why Kaitlyn and Shawn are disliked and why so little people have faith in them as a couple. There's just not much to root for here.

Looking at sm, they're one of the most popular couples out of this franchise, so I disagree with the statement that so few root for them. I have my own ideas why they're not popular here specifically but I'll refrain because no one cares

Your 2nd from last post is great Blu!! I feel EXACTLY the same way and get the same impression too!!

And are they popular with a lot of fans rooting for them or is it that some follow because we wonder what the h*ll they are going to do or say next?
