Nick pretty much answered the way I thought he would with honesty and just plain direct. JMO.

I'll have to keep myself from fan-girling if I wanted to date him.

I guess whoever he was dating...as he said a few dates before K turned him off as it sounds like the girl was digging more of the fact that he is "famous" and was on the show versus wanting to get to know him in that moment or within the "right context" as N puts it. Curious who this girl could be? Could it be JB?

I liked his perspective on his life and how things turned out for him after the Bettes. I would love it if he did a blog post on things he learned from the show that really changed his POV on love and dating and relationships. (I hope you are reading Nick) It seemed like he was in a rush during the interview so he tried to keep things brief.

It's interesting that he has been on 2 emotional journeys which both ended in unrequited love so to speak (in a way but not really, depends on how you look at it) and how he will be pursuing relationships going forward. It sounds like he enjoys being single at the moment and having fun with some adventures that came from being on the show. Great for him!!!!

I hope he continues to write more about his dating and relationship perspectives. I can't wait for the next one.

One of the things that stood out for me is that he always says he likes confident women. Hmmm...Is this meant to empower more women to be confident? Or saying that most women are not confident? It's an interesting sort of message he is conveying. I think it may be both. Nick has a way for saying things that makes you think. I really like that about him.
Kind of pushes people's norms and their limits. I think that is the kind of person Nick strives to be is to push his own comfort limits and see what he would do.

With that (sorry to be so long winded), I think he is seeing where this modeling is going to take him as he seems to be really having fun and enjoying it and exploring maybe his more creative side.

Confident women -  This would be even more important in his case as whomever he dates has to ignore scrutiny when the relationship goes public simply because his SM shows there are fans that criticize any woman he is pictured with and nonfans who still haven't tired of criticizing him specifically.  It's a potential case of being attacked from both sides but for different reasons. A woman in his life will have to ignore all of that like his family and friends have. That is actually quite sad as normally a new couple is excited to be together and share their joy (as it should be) however in Nick's situation there are extreme reactionaries at both ends of the spectrum.  All that has to NOT matter to his next lady love who will likely just be a typical woman, who has never been on tv, falling in love with a guy from Chicago.
In his interview with Bustle he also said he wants a woman comfortable in her own skin and I do think that is rare to a degree.  Many women are confident in some aspects but not all. JMO.
 Stacey was a great host.  I liked how he referred to his modelling as "extra curricular" and she ran with that and made the association of stripping. You could tell they had fun with that. It would have been good if he had repeated that his modelling contract had nothing to do with his being on the show as I think not all people are aware of that.  
I also liked how he put the show into perspective by stating each appearance was only a few months of his life.  Isn't that the truth!? In reality he only spent a few days with each lead, more with K, and although there were real emotions involved those emotions were rejected in the end so it makes perfect sense that he would move on. It's a waste of emotional energy to pine over a girl who gets engaged to someone else.  Neither wanted that opportunity with him and I think a secure man, or woman in the case of TB, lives in the present ... not the past.
It was a great interview  I would like future interviews to focus more on his present and future because exciting opportunities have come his way. I think he is insightful about relationships in general and I do like when he talked about BIP on Bustle (would love to hear him do more commentary on shows in the future) but don't really feel there is a need to keep rehashing his own time on TV.  Perhaps, as you mentioned, a final blog article after which its time to transition to the current.

^^ Beyond the modelling, which let's face it is only surface stuff, I hope whatever he gets involved with going forward is something that is positive and public! He is more than just his love life and it would be refreshing to see him out and about talking about more than that!
