Yes me too. I skipped 96% of Soules season because he was a snoozefest. No more Nick. He can go deflower virgins or bed 25 non virgins on his own time please.

IMO, I agree with the above post that we don't know for sure if Nick was played. However, if it's true TPTB hired a personal trainer for him, we know he got some great opportunities out of this, so I say good for him!

I don't get why Nick would need a personal trainer (unless he has had one for a while now---pre-dating  his first appearance on this show with Andi because looking at pics before he did the show, his body was already very fit and toned.

Yeah, I think RS is just guessing about the personal trainer stuff because it's the first time he, along with most people, have paid attention to shirtless Nick. The ones who always have, know his body has always been great. Surely not in any dire need of improving unlike the bodies of CS, Arie or Ben H. for example. Maybe he's slightly more ripped than usual right now, but I think it's because of his new modelling career rather than TB.

At least Nick is striking while the iron is hot and his face on ads will bring in the bucks.  He will be making more, even if it is only a short stint, than he would on the Bachelor and does not need to quit his day job.  Hopefully, Ben can turn this into something lucrative as well. If he finds a girlfriend, it is a bonus and if CS could torture us on DWTS, at least Ben/Nick are easy on the etpyes.  My personal favorite as bach would be Jared, but they would have to find a lot of short girls.

I find it funny that people say they won't watch the show if Nick is TB. There was a reason the ratings went up when Nick arrived on this season of The Bachelorette, because regardless of whether you love him or hate him, people tune in to watch him.

I personally think Nick's season will be much more exciting than a 26 year old trying to find love with a bunch of 21-24 year olds, but that's just me.

Nick has had a bad habit in the past of chasing things that are not worthy of him, imho.
Imho, being TB is the lowest hanging fruit of the tree when it comes to wanting to be "known."
After two stints on this franchise, I think Nick has learned to aim higher.
It is my hope that all these men will aim higher, too.

I couldn't agree more. I am a little surprised that Ben H. agreed to do TB, as he was so against the idea early on. It just goes to prove that anyone can be bought. I don't think this season will be exciting, but I will still tune in, even if my choice isn't their choice.

IDK.  I'm jaded on the franchise too, but it's still a starring role for 10 weeks on a primetime ABC show.  Maybe it's low hanging fruit, but based on his comments about the possibility, I think Nick would have grabbed it in a minute.  So would just about anyone -- except Chris L,    Although Soules, Kaitlyn, Andi and Juan Pablo have done a lot to soil the lead role under the machinations of the producers lately, I thnk it's still possible come through this show with the love of your life, e.g. Ashley, Trista, Jason, Sean and Des.  So, I'm excited about the choice of Ben.

Have they said any more about an official annoucement?   I am so ready to sleuth the contestants.

How do we measure what's really worthy of him? Obviously,  these two women so unworthy made him feel things he never felt before that he wanted to wife them. IMO,  Nick ain't aiming any higher and hasn't been acting like he is done with this show or learned anything yet. For him, IMO,to be TB is a big deal if tptb would have him and the 3rd time might get him to learn to go back home and look for a girl that would love him for him and stay away from this d-list fame nonsense. Btw, I feel this way about everyone of these pple that keep going back to make fools of themselves over and over. None of these pple are bad looking, why can't they find love away from tv, what is tv love more potent than off tv love? (rant over).

To suggest that Nick or anyone else is above the role of Bachelor comes off as sour grapes to me.... I think any of these guys would have grabbed the role if offered no question asked.  They all went on the show to begin with (Nick twice) so apparently being on a reality tv show is not beneath any of them.  IF they use their fame for a good cause, I will be more impressed however, than with any promotions or modeling opportunities that come out of this show. jmo

I checked and Jared's 6' tall. Maybe he looks short when he's standing by some of the tall guys in Kaitlyn's season. Some of the final guys were 6'2" and 6'4". I guess it doesn't matter since it looks like it will be the tall Ben H.

I am all for any Bach/Ette lead using their position to elevate worthy causes however I have zero confidence that TPTB will ever let a altruistic edit stand.  IMO each and every season is increasingly about pushing the boundaries and Not in a good way. Regardless of the lead, I have no doubt that they will not emerge their season unscathed by controversy.  JMO

I think he'll do fine, also.  Those girls will probably get on Ben's nerves, too.
