Bachelor In Paradise - Season 2 - Episode Discussions - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Clare has never been one of my favorites. She always seems to have a way of getting into involved in drama. Hopefully she's much less emotional when she's off tv. I think she should have taken a pass on this season.

I'm so bored with the whole Joe & Sam thing and it's not showing any sign of letting up with Nick who's also not one of my favorites. I hope at some point they can give us more Jade & Tanner to see why they're a happy couple.

They showed Jade being really upset in the preview for the rest of the season... It seems to be about Tanner but the two of them stay together so I wonder what happens.

I forget exactly what happened in the preview, but I could see her being upset for Carly when Kirk breaks up for her, since she and Carly are BFFs. Tanner seems completely gaga over her, so I can't imagine him suddenly wanting to explore other options or anything like that.

I also noticed that Tanner tweeted that he got a date card this week, but I didn't see that in RS's spoilers. Some romance would be a very welcome change from all the drama!

“Episode 204A” – The drama for the remaining contestants on “Bachelor in Paradise” picks up moments after several infuriated Bachelors confront Joe for leading Juelia on to get her rose, on SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network. Joe reveals his true intentions of sticking around long enough to meet the woman he actually came to Paradise for, Samantha. As their relationship deepens, a heartbroken Juelia asks Chris Harrison for an unprecedented request, while a handsome and notorious newcomer is surprised to learn that Samantha is already in a relationship.

At the cocktail party, Joe and Samantha take the opportunity to address the controversy surrounding their relationship. Wanting a fair chance at love, Juelia takes matters into her own hands by asking Chris Harrison for an unprecedented favor before the rose ceremony. As the rose ceremony commences, uncoupled Bachelorettes find themselves in peril as their only hopes of staying in Paradise lie in the hands of two undecided Bachelors, JJ and Dan. With all that she’s been through, everyone hopes that Juelia will be saved. In what becomes Paradise’s most dramatic rose ceremony to date, shocking decisions are made, resulting in surprise departures and even more astonishing returns.

The next morning, after receiving a late night date card, happy couple Tanner and Jade head off to beautiful Tequila, Mexico where they learn all about the famous liquor and have a serious discussion about their future. Back at the house, the handsome and notorious Nick P., from Ashley Hebert’s season, arrives in Paradise and is surprised to learn that the woman he had made plans to meet, Samantha, is already in a relationship. Still open to finding love, Nick takes a wild and willing Ashley S. to join him on his date. After a hurricane forces the couple to change their plans, they head off to enjoy a spa where they have massages, a few drinks and plenty of chemistry.

After giving their relationship an honest shot, Jared ends things with Ashley I., leaving her in tears. Meanwhile, Joe has the worst birthday ever when Samantha decides to end their relationship. While Samantha laughs the night away, thinking she has washed her hands clean of the situation, Joe swears his revenge.

“Episode 204B” – On MONDAY, AUGUST 24 (8:00–9:01 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network, after a night of dramatic break ups, the “Bachelor in Paradise” cast is still trying to make sense of it all. While things are looking sunny for most couples, a cloud looms over the brokenhearted Joe, Ashley I. and Jared. To make matters worse for Joe, the couple he wronged, Mikey and Juelia, is given an overnight date and everyone couldn’t be happier for their second chance at love. Mikey whisks his lovely date away on a private jet to Guadalajara, where they are treated to an exhilarating Lucha Libre wrestling match and discuss their future as a couple. After proving to be the man she has been looking for, Juelia grants her date permission to stay the night with her in the fantasy suite.

Back at the house, as the cast begins to question the authenticity of a newly single Samantha, a disgruntled Joe pulls her aside and threatens to expose her lies in order to clear his name as the house villain. Escaping all the drama, Kirk surprises Carly with an impromptu fishing date where they discuss their future as a couple and take in a stunning sunset, leaving Carly convinced she has found her husband.

The next day, Joe decides that his doomed relationship with Samantha is still salvageable. He seeks advice from Ashley I., who suggests that he attempt a fresh start with Samantha. But later that night, in a moment that is hard to watch, Joe’s attempt to win her back falls flat, leaving him heartbroken and embarrassed. To make matters worse, Justin from Kaitlyn’s season arrives in Paradise with a date card and has his eyes on Samantha. Despite Joe’s protests, Samantha agrees to join the new arrival on his date. Everyone is stunned by Samantha’s behavior, leaving them questioning who the real villain of Paradise is!

According to RS, JJ leaves at the RC this week (due to the girl he was dating back home) so he gives his rose to Ashley S and then Mikey comes back to take JJ's place. And, then somehow Julia is saved too? I'm guessing because Mikey gives her a rose, but I don't really understand the logistics of it all.

I swear that I am watching just to get to the after to see who is the Bachelor I am so over this show. I even went to the library to get some book so I can read during the show.

I completely agree I think Jade being upset is over the Carly and Kirk situation. As when she is upset she is wearing the same top as when everyone is in the balcony watching something and looking shocked, then Jade and Tenley start running down the stairs I assume to Carly. I don't think it has anything to do with Tanner.

If you go to "Bachelor in Paradise" the abcmedianet site, there's a short clip of Tanner talking to Jade about their future in what looks like to be a fantasy suite. There's also 5 other clips from this weeks shows.
