This is one example of a fan sticking up for their favourites. We see it all the time, nothing wrong with it. Just proving a point, that Nick fans have the same right.

Before this goes off on a tangent like so many other times, I want to make it clear, regardless of who you are a fan of, we do not want to see posts indicating when it comes to Nick, he can do not wrong, Nick gets treated differently around here. We can say the same thing about every single other fan favourite thread.

Depending on who you are a fan of, THEY all get treated special.

I agree GA! And while we're at it, I wish we'd do away with the 'Nick sure gets people riled up/people just love talking about him' line of discussion too. Nick is fair game, but taking issue with (or repeatedly bringing up) how often or how negatively people discuss him shouldn't be on the table either imo.

But isn't it a fact that people love to talk about Nick?
I mean by the number of threads, we know this as a fact, not speculation, not perception of fans/non fans. This doesn't prove anything, just that he's a controversial character that people can't stop loving/hating him.

I actually hope there comes a day when we stop discussing him and move on to something else. Maybe when he returns to his normal life like he claimed he was going to do.. But I think he enjoys the attention too much now for that to happen.

Doing part time modeling isn't that big a deal, or is it?
I believe, he still has a job, he still lives in Chicago, he still posts some other pics, so which part of his major life is not normal? and most important, he is doing what please him, I see this hasn't changed one bit since his first tv appearance, and this I applaud him.

It always take two to tango, he seeks for attention, people love to give him what he wants, either by fangirling him, or bashing him. Then why he should stop and doing something otherwise?

Unfortunately, I think this is his norm now. He's been bit hard by you know what.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's no longer with Salesforce. He sure doesn't seem to be working very much.

He also removed the Salesforce link from his IG bio and replaced it with 'Wilhelmina Models.' In case anyone forgets that he's a model now.

if he left salesforce, and become a full time model is not normal, right?

He goes back to work after first season --> he's fake
He models now --> he's abnormal

This is not going to make me very popular, but--
this is a discussion thread.
If you want to discuss the issues above great.
If you do not like a particular thread, that does not mean discussion should cease to exist per personal tastes.
Should the discussion encourage a negativity that is uncomfortable, no one is forced to partake in the discussion.
As long as someone posts in a discussion thread, it is likely to encourage subsequent postings. This is the nature of the beast. So topics will continue to generate as long as they are fueled.
Options are out there and available for all to choose.
Even as a mod, I will read postings in certain threads, but choose not to partake in certain discussions as it does not work for me. It's ok to do this.

IA we all have certain people we don't care to read about. Everyone has a choice.

I always find it interesting to read everyone's opinions because of how varied one subject can get. It's the reason we are all here!

The truth is, unless someone here is Nick's accountant, none of us know how successful Nick's career has been to date. There have been a lot of assumptions made that he was doing extremely well in his sales job, making gobs of money, and so well thought of that he was allowed to take off lots of time to be on two Bachelor shows (and possibly DWTS?). IF he has really now chucked this all in order to pursue a modeling career at almost 35 years of age, I have to question how well he actually was doing at SalesForce. Breaking into modeling is tough; yeah, he has a great body (so do lots of male models, athletes and gym rats), his face is pleasantly handsome IMO but I don't think he has the drop dead gorgeous looks that many male models do have, so I will be very surprised if we ever see him in a major photo shoot of any kind where serious money would be paid. I really hope he's not chasing this at his age, and hasn't really quit his sales job. That would indicate to me that fame really has gone to his head.
