.I'll admit that I am an equal opportunity nut case. I was a Chris L crazy fan girl and was one of those psychos ticked off at Ali for asking for a hug. I always feel like the lead doesn't say the right things to their F2 at the ATFR. And here I'm upset with Ash about letting Ben propose even though I'm as big a Jordash shipper as anyone. It's my crazy process, what can I say! I always get outraged for the F2 regardless of how I feel about the F1. At least I'm not a hypocrite? But then, soon, like five minutes fron now, I'll be over it and excited to see the happy couple.

I know it's just a cheesy TV show and I know there's more important stuff to worry about. And, I think everyone else does too. I'm so impressed with the literacy and intelligence of posters here; so much different than other places on the web. But I escape through this show, meaning I fall in love vicariously, hurt for those who hurt, celebrate for those who deserve to be celebrated, and get a little outraged at "injustice.". Then, I go back to my busy, stressful, but fulfilling life. I do wish everyone could be as perfect as Northernviewer, though. I usually agree with her picks and it would have saved me a lot of angst in the past.

Loved your post! My picks are usually wrong, as you know, so the rule of thumb is to see who my fave is and go with the other one :winkie:

Not this year though ... yay for me. I'm thrilled with this season's outcome and feel so bad for Ash as to what's going to come with the double proposal. I know she sure didn't intend for that to happen, and I'll repeat what I said in an earlier post, we can all self-righteously say "I'd never to that" but until we're put in that position, under those circumstances.. how do we know what we'd do? I sarcastically joked about Ashley being as perfect as me as that's what I felt others were inferring, that if Ashley didn't make the same choice as they "think" they would have.... she's wrong and a total *****. I think Ashley has carried herself well through this process, was as considerate as any lead could be, she didn't overly lead anybody on any more than this show calls for, all the while being a very emotional, open book. I think she tried to give each guy a chance, but if she wasn't feeling it, she just couldn't fake it. I can't imagine what was going through her mind that day, and people can judge her all they want but I think the stress of the moment was just too much for her and she froze and just stood there dumbfounded. I think we've all been in that moment at one time or other, where we're at a loss for words and just don't know what to say or how to say it. She had feelings for Ben, he's a very sweet guy so it was hard for her to put her rejection into words. I think if it woudl have been Dino or any of the other guys, she probalby would have been more composed and not as emotional going into it, and just may have been better able to handle the situation. Also, we see in that PI where she's an emotional mess after Ben leaves and she's already taking about how cruel that was, so once she was out of that moment the regret set in immediateley. She's a loving, caring girl and so IMO whatever happened at that moment, was not planned and took her by surprise.

I agree my favorite season and thanks for San and LM for this forum. I had a blast and I am looking forward to the next Bachelor season

Dee and Jason: She smiled at him, basically gave him the green light, and then left him down there MUCH longer than we were actually shown before she pulled him up and dumped him. I SLAMMED her for it. Show or no show, inviting the guy down onto a knee and allowing him to spin love sonnets to you before you dump him, is just egoistic and sadistic.

Jillian and Reid: She was stunned by his appearance, and shocked when he dropped down and blurted one out. She also scrambled to get him up as fast as possible. When Kiptyn showed up, he waited for the green light and her face was as transparent as glass. He never went down.

I gave Jillian a pass and slammed Dee.

Devil is in the details. I want to watch how it played out before I judge

Here are my thoughts, for what they're worth (not much ):


I think the following facts may help to assuage some of the anger that may be directed towards TPTB/Ash next week:

1. These spoilers are going to spread all over the internet, so people will know what to expect.
2. RS is going to post the same thing tomorrow, so even more people will know.
3. ABC has even released a new promo showing both guys proposing.
4. The JPash love story has been so real from the very beginning.
5. The ATFR will show that everyone is fine and has moved on.

So while I think people will be upset, I don't think it will be anything near what the Deanna/Jason debacle was. .

Bottom line, the backlash will be pretty swift as well. The fact that it was done once before is bad enough..........now it is done again. And to make it worse, it seems like no effort was made to stop it. That is the very sad part for the F2........it is bad enough to be rejected, then to get down on your knees to propose to someone you love, just to end up being rejected. Not good. No matter who the final 2 is, proposing to someone is a special thing that usually only comes once for you.........now for that joy and one time thing to be "wasted" on someone that doesn't feel the same way and that person could of stopped him from being in that position to begin with, just isn't fair.........not much respect shown there.

Coastal, I think this is a very open-minded, open-hearted post. You and I did not see the same love story this season, but I really, really appreciate all your hard work.

agree. The sluething and all the trouble go to to figure out "what's happening" makes the season great! Thanks to everyone that spends their time looking for stuff for the rest of us
