The lead does get to look at rings with Neil and express her general preferences as far as cut etc. goes.

) to people saying that the B'ette gives some sort of idea as to what type she likes and that the ever romantic Mr. Lane gently hints toward the right ring. I could see the latter happening with the F1 but I guess they'd have to have a good idea of who F1 is by then. All I can be sure of is that we can't rely on whatever Chris Harrison says about how it all works! :awesome:

Thanks jcv2 and JMFan, glad to know the lead (Ashley) does have some input and doesn't have to walk around with an expensive ring she hates but pretends to love. haha

I would say 99% of the posters are respectful of each other's opinions and posts whether in agreement or not. Unfortunately, there is that 1% that are very adversarial and confrontational that are creating havoc in this forum. I am a very patient and calm person, but my patience meter has been tested a few too many times already by what I have read of the unpleasant posts.

I don't know how San and Love_Me plan to resolve this. They are caught between a rock and a hard place.I am all for warnings to be given out and time out period to cool off.

I wish we can all be civil. If we want to be respected, we need to earn it , not demand it and treat others with respect as well. I have said my piece about this issue and will I keep my peace.

That way the day can be just about the happy couple.

I was taking JP being scared as him not being sure of her pick. Isn't that how it usually goes? The F2 feels like they have it in the bag (probably aided by whispered encouragement from TPTB) while the F1 freaks out. It really is cruel and I'm finally learning to not throw stones (of course I've already had to move out of about 14 glass houses I've ruined in prior seasons.)
