They're playing their roles, and will sound contentious at first, but I don't think it's real hate for either of them.

TPTB just going to ride this Nick vs Shawn story board till the very end, it's not that appealing to me but I guess the general audience loves this silly drama, Mike Fleiss please get back to the foundation of this show, some of us are really tired of the drama, enough said.
