I'm not Shawn, but I think he should feel even more confident that he's Kait's first choice after finding out the real background with Nick. Even after all the 3am chats, JK signal and whatnot, she still chose him over Nick and actually spent the majority of the season crying that she had jeopardized their relationship with her stupid Nick mistake. We'll see what the real dude has to say soon enough.

I think because Shawn probably knows the full extent now she had strong feelings for Nick and was possibly falling in love with him. I would think that would make Shawn even more confident in what they have because she chose him in the end after it all. Kaitlyn fully explored what she had with Nick and Shawn still won her heart anyway. I would think he would feel more satisfied and confident that he is REALLY it for her.

I hope he does - because Kait has sure beat it over his head with her blogs and periscopes!

Redemption? Redemption for who? ... Being the next lead isn't some great reward or TPTB's peace-offering, it's a job given by the "devious servants" ... I think Nick has "worked" his a$$ off enough for TPTB without even getting some great compensation (apart from traveling and some un-/wanted attention) ... and if his "proposal" ends up being humiliating ...I would consider him a big idiot for going near TB for the 3rd time. So thanks, but no thanks.

IMO Nick does not owe the producer's anything - even being the Bachelor for the benefit of lining their pockets and getting ratings. I agree Happy, Nick would be an idiot to go anywhere near this franchise again. He reaped all the benefits (friends, travel, attention) already so nothing else good could come of it just more heartbreak and fan dislike.

They just use Nick, they use him while he still serves them ... after this "humiliation", he will be no longer of use to TPTB... that's how it ends.

Nick, as any other cast-member, is expendable.

He was good for the sex-talk, "shaming" season, male rivalry ...
next season is a new chapter for TPTB ... next "slim shady" on the conveyor.

Nick would not be a very effective bachelor IMO and if you remotely like him,don't wish this trainwreck on him. This show breaks more than it makes this pple.
