That is a really good interview. A few things that struck me:

1.

"...producers early on told us, “We would never make a good guy look like a bad guy, or a bad guy look like a good guy. How you are perceived is how you will be shown, and it’s true as I watch back."

Once again, someone stating that for the most part, you are portrayed accurately. If you give it to them...well, don't cry after.

Have you maintained a good friendship with Kaitlyn?

We’ll always be friends. I haven’t talked to her much just because Shawn and Kaitlyn are so happy. And it’s a good thing. I love Shawn. He’s such a good man. He was in Rhode Island this past summer, so we got to hang out. He’s from Connecticut, but lives in Nashville now with Kaitlyn. I can’t say enough good things about him.

Again, sort of the same thing we saw from Ben on the after show. Lots of praise for Shawn, but kind of avoids Kaitlyn. When you can't say something nice, best not to say anything.

3.

You and Ashley I. seem to be really good friends now. Is it just a friendship there?

Ashley and I are such good friends. That’s one of the best things about “Paradise” as well, is that I met her. She has one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever encountered, such a sweetheart. Yes, she’s emotional; she’s very emotional.

Again, doesn't really answer the question. Admits to being friends, but doesn't say it is just a friendship. He had a lot of praise for her and they do seem to hang around more than I expected. Things that make me go hmmm....
