Can someone recap?

They were asked about Ashley saying ILY first, Ash said it was her little secret, and wanted to keep that private. JP said he was confident after their date in HK, had no doubts he would be the last guy standing. Talked about the sister, and she was fine when they returned to the states. Ash said that she was moving to NY soon, they would be looking at neighborhoods and deciding where they want to live. And as for a tv wedding, they said they haven't had a chance to even think that far in advance, just want to enjoy their engagement, they've got a lot going on right now and are just going to concentrate on that at the moment.

What was really cute is that he said that Ashley needs to become familar with the neighborhoods to see "what she likes" - all about her...

Wasn't nervous day of proposal. Felt natural
She told her family. Sister was supportive right away and especially after the show. (this is when she grabs his cheeks and said "poor JP")

Talk about the ring.
JP said they will be searching neighborhoods to see what she likes.
Haven't talked about a TV wedding. Just enjoying now.

How does that make sense with "I've been dying to hear you say you love me" and "the hardest part is not knowing what you feel" during the proposal?

At the end of the LCD JP talked about the difference between I Love You and I am in Love with You. He said that you can Love two people, but you can only be In Love with one. So I think that she said, I Love You, but not I am in Love with You. That's how I see it.

Yeah, but why keep it a secret as to when? LOL

Everything is so public I don't blame them for wanting to keep a very private moment between them.

^^ I agree. Some things should be kept private. The press and media are not going to die down anytime soon for this couple. They will be a papparazzi target in NYC for the next few months. I overheard these three girls who couldn't be older than 14 discussing ways to find out where JP and Ash's apt will be. Some people are going to take things too far. I hope JP and Ashley stay strong and try to stay as humble and normal as possible.

I'm so happy for Ashley and JP to get good ratings. It helps that they are gold for the franchise. Hoping for a televised wedding. Several friends of mine haven't been watching, but always watch the FRC and AFRC. Now I have spent most of my morning emailing videos of Ashley and JP. They fell in love with JP just from last night and love Ashley too.

I think it's probably easier to say that in retrospect. Even if he felt quite sure during the show, there's still bound to be those nagging doubts.

ITA, especially with all of the prodding by producers! I'm sure they were always asking questions along the vein of "Are you afraid she'll fall in love with other guys?" or "Are you afraid she might pick someone else?"
