I just sent an email to People Magazine's customer service department.

Basically I said this:

Was going to go out and buy your magazine this week, which is something I never do, because you advertised that you had Ashley and JP (from the Bachelorette) on your front cover and an article on them inside. I just found out that the article is pretty much very negative (from reading your website version), so People Magazine I will not be buying your magazine after all. Shame on you for spinning negativity out of something that should be positive.

I was going to buy people for the first time too but will no longer buy it. Why can't the media figure out what the consumer wants?

I actually had a different take on the "Love After Lies" headline on the cover of People. I took it to mean that she had finally found Love after dealing with all the lies from He Who Shall Not Be Named. I am probably just being ridiculously naive and 'Pollyanna' about it.
