I finally broke down and listened to the BB and I was surprised how much of a "non-issue" Ben's proposal was to them. Almost all of them said it must have been orchestrated largely by the producers, and they really didn't blame Ashley much at all. And the person there who would clearly be in the best position to know what was really going on, Jason, made some great insights about how they were probably telling Ashley that Ben needed to propose and show more emotion so that he would then have the opportunity of being the next Bachelor offered to him.

As to which ones think JP and Ashley will last, I think it says a lot when the ones who don't (Wes, Dave, Jesse) are also the ones who have probably never had a successful relationship themselves. Pretty much all the rest said that if they stay out of Hollywood and go back to their normal lives, they certainly could make it.

The three stooges are clearly jealous of JP's popularity with the female fans. One of them insinuated he's gay, one is sure he is a jealous control freak, and the third thought Ashley had a much better connection with Ben. I think that says it all.

What a great nickname for these losers!!

Did you guys read the article from Hollywood life stating that Ashley slept with Ben the night before the final, and Ben is now bragging about it. Is it for real? I did not see that coming.

Hollywood Life's source is Star Mag and I'd already mentioned they have that in an article this week (see my tabloid summary a couple pages ago: http://bachandbachettefans.forumotion.com/t307p288-ashley-and-jp-general-media-discussion#77141). They're saying "reportedly" slept with Ben F and it's Star Mag, so you can imagine how credible it is Also they're saying this happened at the LCD which it clearly didn't. There's a quote from an unnamed friend of Ashley's saying Ben F is immature and is only doing this to soothe his bruised ego from the rejection. Jesse C is quoted in the article and they use it to spin a JP jealousy story.

Hollywood Life takes stories from every tabloid and posts them even if they're contradictory with each other.

Former Bachelorette winner Jesse Csincsak reveals that it’s common practice for the Bachelorette to have sex her final two contenders. “Everyone always sleeps with the finale two, and I’ve heard this season was no different,” Jesse notes. “The problem of hooking up with both finalists has been the downfall of many of the show’s engagements.”

now..... JesseC is such a jerk and it is not because DEANNA the Bioch slept with jason and jesse that all of them did the same. Maybe Jillian tho... but not ali and not ashley

NO WAY ashley would have jeopardize her relationship with JP. just not happened

And Jesse knows this because all the former Bachelorettes run to HIM first thing after filming to confide in him about their sex lives, right?

I like how this latest "story" manages to trash all three of the people supposedly involved with one fell lying swoop, Ash for being a slut, JP for being a raging jealous cuckold, and Ben for being an immature bitter braggart. Good work, HL!

The Jesse quote is in the Star story. I'm not sure HL got the whole quote right but it's all from Star and yes it's a story that makes them all look bad. Including Jesse C who's a famewhoring dbag who'll say anything to get quoted by, wait for it, Star mag Although to be fair I did wonder if that particular quote was one he'd made for a previous season because I thought I may have read it before. I don't know and it doesn't really affect the ridiculousness of the story. It's full of inaccuracies (the biggest red flag being them saying this happened at the LCD) and it's obviously trying to go for the maximum shock value and drama.

People have to expect this by now. If you're on a reality TV show or you're a real celeb, it's open season on you as far as the tabs are concerned.

This is ridiculous on so many level

1. ashley would have never jeopardize her relationship with JP, If she broke the rules and said I love you to reinsure JP (methinks taiwan). do people think that she will sleep with ben the previous day of JP's proposal?

2. ashley spiney at beatdown said that ashley wanted Ben out of the show BEFORE the FRC but producers said that this show they wanted a proposal refusal. AshleyS said that she cannot say more because of her abc contract but obviously ashley tried to avoid the humiliation somehow.

3. I have a hard time to believe that ben said that she slept with her although I am still not getting how he was so sure she would accept his proposal. Yes they laugh a lot, yes she flirted a lot. I dunno here.

Titou I can tell this story is really bothering you but you really shouldn't waste your energy debunking it. This is what tabloids do and this is Star which has always been the biggest joke among tabloids. There are big holes and inaccuracies in the story that are pretty obvious some of which have already been pointed out. There's also an a-hole in the story and that's Jesse C who agreed to be quoted for it.

But it is what it is. In Touch has been up against Ashley and JP almost all season and its stories which ranged from Ashley sleeping with Bent to JP being a drunk flirt with other women to JP being a desperate guy still trying to get over his ex from 3 years ago didn't stick. Star's even lower on the totem pole than In Touch and they'll publish just about anything for shock value. You just got to and move on.
