I can't help it, I kind of like William despite everything.

The LCD did seem like a really odd time for Ashley to finally try to get into a Ben F kiss after weeks of pecks but I kind of thought it was her way of trying to show Ben F that she valued his declaration of love, knowing what she would do the next day. It almost felt like she wanted to give him that moment. I think she was being empathetic to a fault and it apparently did give him the wrong impression but I still think there wasn't electricity there. I agree with kdubs_ca that it seems like she's really made an effort in her blogs to give Ben F some comfort and closure.

By the way, Ashley and JP's People photo shoot was in Malibu on 7/24. That'd be the day after the MTA taping and the day before the ATFR taping.

Did anybody listen to JP's interview on WPLJ this AM? It doesn't seem like they put up show podcasts every day but maybe they'll put up JP's: http://www.plj.com/sectional.asp?id=17106

Did you guys read the article from Hollywood life stating that Ashley slept with Ben the night before the final, and Ben is now bragging about it. Is it for real? I did not see that coming.

Hey everyone! I've had limited internet due to my computer at home busting and being swamped at work so I haven't been able to share in the joy of it FINALLY being August 1st and seeing Ashley & JP together! However, I'm kind of blah on a few things to be honest.

Watched the finale and thought it was...ok! I think her sister almost became the bigger story than JP & Ashley and for that I am pissed. From the interviews that I have watched, they are still obviously having to deal with the aftermath of that 20 minute segment and Chrystie's opinion of JP. I'm also bummed that we didn't get to see the original engagement because whatever retake that was...it was just kind of a let down!! Loved them getting into the water after that and they seemed REALLY happy from the video and pictures.

As far as Ben at the finale...well...I wish they would have let her do what Ali did and let him go before the FRC. Or at least not let him get down and propose. I felt bad for him...even though Ben obviously needs a class on how to read people because you could tell all over her face that she was not going to pick him and it felt like he should have had an inkling before getting down on one knee. But who knows what really happened there and what she had told him to make him think this was a good idea. I think he'll be fine and I'm sure he's the #1 choice for the Bachelor. I hope he does it...I would watch.

Ashley's blog was disappointing to me. Anybody else feel this way?? Maybe because I ADORED Ali's from last year when it really was about their love story. This just felt like an apology to Ben and an explanation to Ben...when I don't feel like it should be about Ben anymore. Who knows...maybe there are things that Ali shared/does share that Ashley doesn't want the public to know and that is understandable...but I definitely had my hopes up too high on that one!

OK...last complaint!! PEOPLE MAGAZINE!!! OMG...you have them on the cover, you do a photo shoot with them...and it's all negative???? "Love After Lies"???? Did they really have to go there? I guess it just continues the theme a bit for me that the finale and everything since has been about everything BUT their love story....Chrystie, Ben, Bentley, jealousy, approval of the family, etc. In regards to the last episode, ATFR and now the post show...I enjoyed Ali & Roberto so much more, but they also didn't seem to have the obstacles that Ashley & JP have.

Sorry...just had to get that off my chest!! Smiley

They looked adorable and very happy in NYC yesterday and I thought the segment on Regis & Kelly was super cute! I do think they have a great chance to make it and I love that she is moving to NYC soon!! Yay!!

LOL. Nick is my BFF's trainer, here in Tampa. She loves him.

Nick is great. He's got me hooked on Greek yogurt too. I replied back to him that JP was like a walking advertisement for Peety's Training because the difference between the beginning and now is like night and day.

Hollywood Life's source is Star Mag and I'd already mentioned they have that in an article this week (see my tabloid summary a couple pages ago: http://bachandbachettefans.forumotion.com/t307p288-ashley-and-jp-general-media-discussion#77141). They're saying "reportedly" slept with Ben F and it's Star Mag, so you can imagine how credible it is no no

Also they're saying this happened at the LCD which it clearly didn't. There's a quote from an unnamed friend of Ashley's saying Ben F is immature and is only doing this to soothe his bruised ego from the rejection. Jesse C is quoted in the article and they use it to spin a JP jealousy story.

Hollywood Life takes stories from every tabloid and posts them even if they're contradictory with each other.
