Ashley and J.P - General Media Discussion

I adore Dana's snark and couldn't remember ever seeing her write a snark-free, totally sincere blog. But this was very sweet, and just confirms what we already know. Rachel from Ben's season retweeted it and said she couldn't have said it better. I guess they made a good impression last night.

Ashley & JP's part of ATFR and the After Party were great to watch - it was fun to see them so relaxed and joking around. Reading that blog Ashley wrote about Bachelor PTSD, I really felt happy for her that it's come full circle for both of them and that people seem to 'get' them now. Ashley seems to have grown through this experience and she's grown with JP, and it's just really heartwarming to see.

FYI: OK, Life & Style, In Touch, and Star all feature a pic of Ashley and JP at the South Beach Comedy Festival where Ashley's wearing that giant boxing glove. Life & Style has a separate pic where they talk about what Ashley and JP want to name their kids (this is something they ran with last summer too, with the same names). I think it's Life & Style that quotes JP as saying they're doing great.

I notice on the banner everyone has a great except courtney . I can not remember her smiling on the show . maybe now that Ben and her are

starting life together we will see a happier courtney on the cover of the mags i wish them luck .

JP and Ashley were a breath of fresh air (as always). I got to hang out with these two ALL DAY last Monday and I literally can’t say enough good things about them. They are so much fun, so likable. They are constantly smiling, playing/flirting with each other. I can’t wait to see the day they get married and if I don’t get invited to the wedding I will be crashing it for sure. Hahaha.

Two days late to the party, as I hadn't had a chance to watch ATFR until now, but I just have to say that it was SO good to see Ashley and JP again. I'm honestly running out of superlatives to describe how great they are. I started grinning like a lunatic as soon as they walked onstage and didn't stop until after the credits had rolled. They are SO cute. So, so cute. Ashley looked beautiful, as usual, and I really like her hair these days. It's a little shorter than it's been in the past and I love the highlights.

I love the way JP thinks it's sexy that Ashley's so smart. He made such an awesome face when he called her "Doctor" that I had to rewind several times. I loved how, when Ashley was saying that they definitely want kids and will probably get on that sooner rather than later, he sort of leaned his head really close to hers and just had this really intense look on his face. (But I do have to confess that I'm a bit worried about the whole baby name thing. In a world with kids named Apple and Blue Ivy and Pilot Inspektor, for Ashley to say that she's never heard anyone named them before? Oy. I hope they don't go too crazy with the "originality" and "uniqueness." There's something to be said for a name that people can actually pronounce and spell!)

Loved the After Party too, and how Dana has such a mad crush on JP. (Andrea Lavinthal, too, judging by her tweets today.) It's just so sweet the way everybody who meets them is absolutely crazy about them.

I'm ALSO loving Ashley's blog posts to their website! So cute the way she said her parents looked after Boo while she went on The Bachelorette to find Boo a daddy. Such a sweet, happy little family.
