I noticed that too. I feel like there were way more people excited about Chris Soules' finale than there are this one and he was the most boring lead ever. To me it doesn't seem like Kaitlyn's finale is being hyped up as much as past seasons.

IMO we'll never see a simple love story from this franchise - they just don't think that way and even when they have the possibility of showing one, they overlay drama to hide it. They indeed don't seem to know those in Bachelor Nation who want a love story but it's hard to argue with success and this show has beaten the odds with success so maybe Bachelor Nation isn't the metric that counts.

I think it's simply because there's no suspense whatsoever. Most seasons we can at least try to prove the spoilers wrong, but this time there's both a smoking gun and a mountain of circumstantial evidence, so there's no point. We're just waiting for it to be over with. I'm only excited for the ATFR and I can already smell the anticlimax coming with that as well.

I wish now that I had passed on watching this season as well. But, I didn't, so I am just looking forward to 10:01 pm (CST) this coming Monday night, which will mean that this mess of a season will have finally ended!!! (Where are those "praise hands" when I need them?)

And, it will truly be the end for me, since I have no interest whatsoever in following or reading about Kaitlyn and Shawn going forward.

It has been a quiet season for the most part on this forum from my POV.

except for snapchatgate. I was away and came back to over a thread of comments!

The diehard fans are probably in the fan thread and the F2 fans in his. Our lead has left us nothing to talk about. So yeah, boring.

Haha!  But Chris was the WORST!  TPTB knew he was not into it at all.  Such a disconnect.  TPTB knew they had to "mask" what was not there.

I am much more excited about Kait.  At least what you see is what you get.  Still love the Canadian cutie!  JMHO ;)
