'I love Michael!' Bachelorette hopeful Turnbull gets support for his palm-written declaration of love after Sam Frost's response fell flat

He put his heart on the line and told The Bachelorette Sam Frost exactly how he feels on Thursday night's hometown visits. 
But Michael Turnbull's method of doing so had more people cringing than swooning when it was revealed he had written his declaration of love on the inside of his palm.
Nevertheless, the professional footballer and real estate agent is standing by his sappy gesture and even found some support from fans the following day



A group of school-aged children posed for a photo with 'I [love] Michael xox' scrawled across their palms after the reality star had flashed 'I [love] Sam xoxo' on his.


Posting the image, which he later removed, to his Facebook page, Michael wrote: 'Thank you for the support messages everyone'.

He later reiterated his appreciation and followed suit by again taking his marker to his skin, this time writing: 'I [love] your support xox'. 
Michael, 34, revealed his message of love to Sam after their romantic and affection-filled date in his hometown of Brisbane.
But rather than send the beauty's heart into a flutter, her reaction was somewhat lacklustre as she was heard exclaiming: 'Aw! That's a little bit cute of you.'
