Thanks! That was really interesting. He also brought up Kaitlyn being distraught after Shawn's date as a sign that she'll pick Nick. He said that if you're like that after a day like that then it means it must've been really hard for you. That's what I thought as well, but I believe she's with Shawn, so I guess she's just confused.

Oh and he also said Trista was a total wreck at the end and they had no idea which one she'd pick, so that's one lead who was legitimately confused. And look how that turned out!

Apparently confusion is a good sign for longevity in relationships - look at Trista, Jason, and Des! Even Sean said he was thinking about letting Cat go at F4 and had a midnight conversation with her.

Interesting interview with Jason Carbone.  He sees more of a connection with K/N than with K/S.

Maybe the Mesnick happened before the proposal? Like, she was all set with picking Nick and then the night before, she had an emotional breakdown and changed her mind to Shawn. I could see that happening.

Maybe we've already seen the Mesnick and didn't realize it. The scene in Dublin after Kaitlyn's 1-1 date (and sex with Nick) where she's crying on a grey concrete balcony reminded me so much of the "real" Mesnick - in terms of camera angle, composition and background it was uncanny.

IMO - The Jason Carbone interview gave cause for reflection.  This is a messed up season in so many ways. Since CH said in his TV Guide interview this week that re: the finale "This is a train wreck the rest of the way." I can only imagine the disaster that lies ahead because I already feel like most of this season has been a trainwreck already!  I can't go all in on any ending just yet.  One thing is certain TPTB were not feeling friendly toward Shawn and Kaitlyn in their edits.  I actually am on team Nick as a person  because I find him interesting but I am not certain which way I prefer this ends.  I do think TPTB have been much more fair in their edit of Nick this season.  All this overload of SM and snapchat business has just been a very crazy post show that has not reflected well on Kaitlyn.  She needs to give the SM a rest.  I am very curious about what went down at the end of the season or even post season that led to the crazy editing of this season.  It seems especially telling that the train not only came off the tracks but hurled of the side of the mountain, if TPTB are choosing to forego (bachelor speak) the rosy Live ATFR.  I wish we could just skip the MTN and fast forward to the finale.

IMO the Mesnik is still coming... Unless you count Cupcake's dramatic cliff side exit. CH could have been referring to that.

Andi's atfr was live, but I'm not sure I'd call it rosy exactly.

I think they probably planned for a closed atfr because of the initial spoiler. Wasn't Des' also closed?

Possibly, but I'm still thinking it's either Nick or Kaitlyn after the rejection. They did show Kaitlyn standing on a balcony in her proposal dress, so the setting would make sense and it would follow what Ali said about the finale being so good as we haven't had a crying emotional wreck of an F2 on the Bachelorette since maybe Jason or Arie.
