Also, I'm getting a bit more excited about Ben H inevitably being the Bachelor. I feel like I've actually seen some personality in the last two episodes!

I really think the personality is there, but he gets lost in Shawn versus Nick and to be honest the Kaitlyn annoying crying over having sex with Nick. That last a whole episode and a half. I feel like 26 year old Ben was left on the editing floor because we needed time for two drunken visits to Kaitlyn's room and 20 ITMs of her crying about the sex and then more drama when she actually tells him. Ben H just acted too much like a grown up to get time on the air.

There's a deleted scene of Kaitlyn and Ben on Hulu having a horseshoe throwing contest and it's really cute and lighthearted and shows more of his humour and personality - I wish they'd included it in the episode but they had to dedicate so much time to Nick and Shawn's high school feud that there wasn't any screentime left. 

Ben is so likeable and sweet. He really has to be the lead, I can't imagine it going any other way.

Kaitlyn was hilarious when she asked if she's an older woman to him. No, you act like you're 15, it's fine, girl.

Has it all become so predictable? Or is it just predictable to those of us who sleuth and read the sleuthing results? I wonder if the unspoiled and the general watching public have a clue. Just wondering.....

I think most people know it's down to Shawn and Nick. I've heard quite a few of unspoiled people think Nick is going to win, so I guess there is some suspense still left for the average viewer.

I'm liking what I'm seeing. He's charming, handsome, and getting more vulnerable (yes, please).

Katiebelle in our unspoiled thread really likes Nick, but is frustrated by the whole Shawn vs. Nick thing. Thanks to Kaitlyn and her inability to hold her secret for two months, there aren't many who are not spoiled.

I do find it funny that people who were complaining about Nick spoiling the season last year just don't seem too upset with Kaitlyn and accept that she keeps spoiling her season with every action. Compare her to Des who managed to get through her season with everyone believing that she was with the guy who dumped her, but weak willed Kaitlyn barely made it a month before she had to let us know that she did pick Shawn and he is hers. She is even more insecure than he is, she needs to tell everyone, he is mine back off.

I don't find Kaitlyn refreshing, I find her pathetic.

I think it really just matters what Shawn and Kait think and they both seem to need that level of security and reassurance in each other. To me, it's okay that she can't keep this secret and wants everyone to know she's with Shawn and they're happy. It's just who she is and she's found someone who seems to be on the same page as her. So even though I thought 1F and J/A (who I also loved) last year were the height of arrogance for the same behavior, I'm biased towards Kait .
