Amen! Sing it, sister! She was completely "horned up" (ala Ryan M) from their pre-show SM interactions. She was hot to trot for him from the moment she laid eyes on him. And, let's not forget, her exact words that night in her hotel room as she arose from the couch and took Nick's hand were: "Come with me." Well, I guess he took her up on that and did.

I find it fascinating that both Andi and Kaitlyn (two very different women) described Nick as passionate and making them feel like real, desired women. Andi said he could see her soul and K made a similar comment (cannot remember exactly what words she used). To me, that sounds like a guy who puts it all out on the line and bares his own heart in order to connect with a woman.

And what has he gotten in return from these two? Andi ditched him because he wasn't glamorous enough for her lifestyle (the Kmart comment was the death of him, IMO) and Kaitlyn gives him loads of compliments, says he brings out her sentimental (romantic?) side and challenges her intellectually , but she will choose the meathead in the end.  These women are so frustrating to me.

ITA with all of the posts above ^^^^^^  Re: The sexting and telling friends.... No surprise at all.  Kaitlyn practically lives her life on various forms of SM.  More surprising is that there is not evidence on Snapchat or Periscope!!

Mia, I have come to think Andi and Kaitlyn are very similar in their goals and wants. They both love the big meathead, they are both desperate for everyone to love them, they both share way too much on SM, and they both feel for a wonderfully complicated man who challenged them and made them feel like a woman. Then they both got scared and decided to stay with the meathead. I think that repeating the same thing and expecting a different outcome makes you a little insane and not K&A are a little insane. JMO

I also think Nick was a little insane to go on this show again and expect a different outcome.

But remember that Nick is a hopeless romantic and tries to see the best in people...give them the benefit of the doubt.  I think that he was hoping for an epic love story like his parents.  It was just too good to pass up the chance that Kaitlyn and he might have this type of epic love story.  That is why, IMO he continues to say that she, "is worth it".

In all of the shows I've watched from this franchise I am hard pressed to think of one that didn't portray the lead as confused until the last moment - when a sudden moment of clarity came to them as they were putting on underarm deodorant and they knew who they were going to pick. When themes like this repeat season after season I see nothing but producer story line behind it. But confusion is a nice way to do two things - keep an element of suspense in viewers' minds - and provide a more gentle landing for F2 who would like to believe they actually had a chance.

And of all the shows I've watched from this franchise there is only one where I've believed that there was confusion and that was Jason's season, and the only reason I believe that was because he cried on the lawn with his mother and told her he was confused, and IMO you don't do that in front of your mother unless it's true.

I do not believe that Kaitlyn was confused at all and I need look no farther than the MTP dates we saw last Monday to support that; her mind was made up - probably long before that date.

I agree with the bolded, especially the point on the MTP dates.

Kaitlyn's pre-RC chat with CH was also revealing. She said very complimentary things about all three men & she also expressed her concerns about all three of them. But what she said about Nick really stood out to me. She said that she loved being in the moment with Nick, it was passionate. But she wasn't sure he was the guy in the context of long term or marriage. (I'm paraphrasing here.)

This summed up for me exactly where Nick's relationship with Kaitlyn stood. It also explains why we're seeing what we're seeing between the two of them onscreen.

Not to bring up last season, but this is exactly what Andi struggled with as well. I think that Nick's personality is difficult to translate into real life when the relationship is "fast forwarded" like it is on the show. The women wonder if the relationship with Nick is sustainable in it's passionate form. What they fail to realize is that in real life, when things are at a normal pace, it is not nearly as intense. Things would slow down and become much more normal, spending time doing the regular things in life... Like going to K-mart.

I think it is easy to portray the lead as confused between her F1 and F2 but I think it is harder to see when this is true or not true.

Looking outside the bubble and after the fact one can say the lead knew because of x, y, and z but inside the bubble with Kaitlyn's personality of being "in the moment"? I think she was confused.

If Nick drops a bomb on ATFR to Kailtyn of "Why did you tell me I was "the one" and " you're it" off camera as well?"

Well I'll answer that question for Nick here and now so that he can save himself the trouble and resulting media backlash....

As Kaitlyn would say, "I was in the moment with you. I truly felt that you were the one at the time."

A good, solid party-line answer for good old Nick. Hopefully that will put the bomb to rest.

And then Shawn will be like, but I thought it was only meeee?!

Nah, I think even if she did say that Nick will just keep on keeping on. Maybe that is why he looks happy because he realizes he really does want something more than just "in the moment".

Just watched. Why Nick's family did not lock him up in a room until the show was done to save them from going thru this again. I felt for them!

Well...

Ugh I can see that happening or maybe even if she told N that she loved him off camera. But yeah she could use the same thing that she told Shawn that she was in the moment or that Nick needed reassurance .
