The Bachelorette 11 - Kaitlyn Bristowe - Epi 9 July 13th - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

It'll be really interesting to see if Kaitlyn talks about Shawn and Nick's confrontations on his blog this time, since last week she totally ignored it. I just have a feeling she had a totally different impression of the whole hate between Shawn and Nick thanks to Shawn's recount of events. He basically told her that he heroically went to tell Nick what he thinks of him and Nick got "super upset", lashed out at him and thus proved his point totally. That's so not what we saw. We saw him go berate Nick, not letting him get a word in egdewise, while Nick stayed level-headed throughout and only tried to defend himself against his accusations which, newsflash Shawn!, he's allowed to do. Then when he came up to him to try and state his peace, he just raged at him like a lunatic. Nick stayed calm as usual and left it at "fair enough, Shawn".

I don't think it's even fair to talk about them hating "each other". Shawn's the only one feeling and exhibiting pure hate. All Nick said is that he doesn't have any respect for Shawn and I can see why! He has valid reasons for it. That doesn't equal hate. Shawn's raging definitely does. If it was up to Nick they'd probably been civil throughout, so I think it's really unfair to lay equal blame on them both.

After watching last night's episode, if I were Kaitlyn I'd be thinking long and hard about what kind of a man I just got engaged to.

Nicks family has won me over. You don't have a family like that and come out a bad person. I wouldn't mind at all if he was the next bachelor. Very interesting lead he would make ... a complex ragamuffin lead ... I am also wondering if her intention was to pick Nick then finds she cannot walk away from Shawn. Well done, Fleiss. We are glued to the end. And I lhope Kaiboo find their own way together happily for years.

I will be very curious to see what nick does at the ATFR.  Hopefully takes the high-road, and wishes them well.  If Nick says anything about sex, imo, he will be BLASTED on SM.  I think he knows this, and will hopefully just wish Shawn and Kaitlyn the best.

I think Kaitlyn thrives on drama.  She seems to love that the guys feelings for her bring out the competitive, dramatic side.  I hope once Shawn has the girl all to himself, he settles down and leaves the temper tantrums and acting like a 5 year old behind.  They do look cute together and have some rather sweet moments, but they're too few and overshadowed by all the drama.  Personally, I'd find a relationship with him exhausting if he always acts that way, but I have a feeling that K actually likes it.

I have said this several times this season. Shawn's lack of sensitivity to listen and discuss issues in a rational way tells me, he's not going to change any time soon. She may think all will be well once they are out of the bubble, but what's the next thing he's going to be jealous about? It doesn't end with people who have that type of personality. The other party "thinks" it will get better, or maybe "if I don't tell him this" or "if I just don't mention that" all will be good. Lack of communication, lies to avoid conflict, and a raging lunatic does not make for a happy solid foundation. How will he handle media rounds and constant questions about the other guy? Will K have to unfollow anyone that he doesn't like because he doesn't associate with people like that? This guy has become the example of who not to get involved with, no matter what. JMHO

That's all part of the plan IMO. Paint Shawn as a jerk and have her question his intentions and whether he is the one. They will save the drama and questions for ATFR for our viewing pleasure.  Meanwhile she will see Nick  in a totally different light and see Nick as being the true one.  So predictable. There's no way Kaitboo make it through the ATFr unscathed . I think Nick will come out smelling like a rose though .

Even the preview had Kaitlyn's mom confronting one of the guys "you have been possesive and jealous". I don't doubt she brings it up with both guys but this pharasing was said I believe to Shawn. They just showed it with a screen shot of Nick for misdirection. Kaitlyn needs a little more of her mom's strong backbone. As for the theory Nick was brought on to provide a plot because it was so so so clear Shawn was her final one, I say hogwash. They lucked out that he was interested in her since their social media beforehand proved to him she was "the best part of his day". Sure they agreed to give him a shot but did not force her to tell Nick if he says he loves you make him "Promise" then keep up the charade until the very end so you get a proposal. I agree with "Cupcake" when he said Kaitlyn was a mess and didn't know what she wanted and was scared. Shawn was the easier way out. Nick was ready for marriage and talking about pretty babies. Is she ready for that? Interesting when she asked Shawn's sister about if he was ready for marriage the answer was... he is ready to be engaged,. For how long we will see....

Kait's Mom was on snapchat last night with kait and she definitely said it to Nick because they both made a comment about it. She said it to Nick in reference to his behavior LAST season. Sorry but no one gets a pass this season, not even Nick. TPTB are ruthless to everyone.

Based on what you all have been saying about Shawn, I think it may be a massacre.
