Shawn has accused Nick of being manipulative since he appeared, and Shawn's edit shows that Shawn is the one manipulating Kait with the threat of leaving.

Definitely manipulative on all counts.
But then, this show is manipulative and manipulates its audience.
The audience is sold a bill of goods that this is about love and yet it is really just a farce.
The ones who find love? It's because of who they are, and how ready they are for marriage that it works, not because of this show, imo.

It's funny, all of the recappers and podcasters that I listen to LOVED Shawn on the first episode up until NY (as did I), and just started progressively hating him more and more after that. And, most of them aren't even Nick fans!

I know that there are a bunch of Shawn fans out there, but I wonder if they are mostly teenage girls who just think Shawn is hot because it's crazy to me that people don't see how irrational, hypocritical, an manipulative he's being.

Rolly - smh. I don't see it either. It's incredible how differently we all view things. Lots of people dislike Nick, but I think he's adorable. That dance scene at his HTD was just great!

I thought the nudity at the golf course was totally inappropriate. I think we've had enough black boxes on this show to last a lifetime. What was the point of the whole exercise anyhow? It added nothing to the show, IMHO.

IA that she didn't think about the consequence of her actions, how that would affect Nick's family.

I think Kaitlyn lives so "in the moment" she forgets there are repercussions for what she does and when someone else brings this up she feels bad or gets defensive.

She just lives in the next moment and that is all... which is why I think she took Nick to FRC and let him pick out a ring to propose.

Imo, her behavior is completely inconsiderate and selfish and to just claim it is just being "in the moment". no no

Apparently so. Alot of girls love a challenge and he will definitely be a big one!

I like Ben but I admit I am just so skeptical on how these guys sell us on being next bachelor contenders.
I do think he is a nice guy but I don't think he is exempt from seeking fame for fame's sake if he chooses to be next lead.
While he is marriage material and mature I think he needs to live a bit more before finding a wife over a 2 month television show.
This show has become so drama filled and crazy I don't see Ben being able to be like Sean Lowe.
