I mean, yeah, usually I would say that any woman who starts sexting with a man 5 minutes after he put another girl on blast for having sex with him, deserves nothing more than that exact man. I think (hope) she's learned her lesson though.

I'm going to be pissed if Shawn breaks up with her though and we miss out on having him as the lead. It would be such an interesting and highly emotionally charged season with him at the helm. Ugh. Hope they don't screw this up

Her demeanor at MTA shows she has learned nothing.

I hate thinking that, but I think that's going to happen too. He's one of the most popular guys this season and will women dying to date him. Actually I think all the drama turned both of them on . Honestly I think he knew she was not all that confident or laid back going into this but I think he's ok with that since he likes being the protector and lead in the relationship IMO. I think this show brought out their best and worst sides so they know more about each other than an average couple outside the show. They already have had to face more bumps than the average couple too. The real test is ATFR and beyond. Depends on how bad they want it to work whether it does or not. TWT

I was pretty much blasé about K. Disliked Britt because I saw her as an outright phony. I now am now much less a "fan" of K than before the season started. IMO, there is a certain swagger or bravado about her that kind of rubs me wrong, but it is not an "in your face" type. On the other hand, Shawn is that surly, cave man type possessive of his woman. I hope to be proven wrong with these two but...... to be continued.

For some reason I feel like Kaitlyn and Shawn might just work and actually exceed most expectations. Obviously IDK, but once I've witnessed a similar couple and even today I dont know how they make it work, but they do.

The fact that neither has had a stable homelife with both their parents divorcing may actually help them cling together. We'll see.

Alanna, I remember all the hoo-haa when JP was exhibiting signs of jealousy back in Ashley's season. However, I'm not sure that this couple remind me of them. I'm guessing only time will tell whether they make it or not. I don't hold out much hope as there are so very few "marriages" coming out of this franchise.

I never saw Jash so have no clue if there is a comparison. But the key will be how they handle themselves as a couple starting with the backlash they probably will get at ATFR and beyond. I still have worries that another bomb has yet to be dropped that will be unleashed curtsey of TPTB, but that's just me.

IMO, JP is so much more mature that Shawn, IIRC, he never questioned Ash, never challenged her decision, never commented Ash was stupid over the Bentley drama.

Yes, JP was jealous, but he handled it himself. He didn't run to Ash's room to seek for validation. And he wasn't jealous because he hated any other guy and thought he is so above anyone. He just wanted more time with Ash. But Shawn? He thought he was above anyone so he was mad when not given more validation. 

K and S maybe another yin-yang pair (I double this because they basically are very similar) as some may see it, but there is a huge difference between JP and Shawn, IMO.

Immense difference between Ash and K too. Ash and JP probably would've had a different ending if she had talked out of both sides of her mouth like K, slept with Bentley, etc.

Ashley is a professional woman with a career that took a lot of schooling, training and determination. JP again is a professional with a very good stable career. Kaitlyn is no Ashley and Shawn no JP. JMO, I find the comparison pretty insulting to JP and Ash. JP spent a season supporting Ash and loving her. Shawn spent a season criticizing Kaitlyn. No where near the same.
