'He started his speech and got emotional a few seconds in,' a source told the magazine. 'Kaitlyn grabbed his hand and let him keep going, and he thought that was the sign he needed to propose.

'She told him they have something special and she loves him. But she said her heart was with someone else.'

According to Us Weekly, Kaitlyn then tried to get the reject to stay and talk to her, but he was not having it.

'He was like, “What the f***?” He told her, “I need to go, and you need to go be with the other person.” There was nothing left to say,' the source claims.

This makes me think Nick thought he was the only guy at FRC.
Makes sense considering he was let go pre-FRC last year.

I believe Nick's "WTF?" is in response to Kaitlyn telling him her heart is with someone else.
The "someone else" is when it hit Nick that he was not the only guy at FRC and so he wasn't interested in talking.

And why would Nick want to talk after he'd told Kaitlyn he was "scared to death" of being rejected again at F2?
Yet Kaitlyn let him propose, told him she loves him but still rejected him?
Of course Nick would have "nothing left to say".

IMO, there is nothing to say about being put through that.
"Sorry" really doesn't cut it and neither does Kaitlyn's "I needed to take it this far to figure it out".

Nick was "all in" with Kaitlyn.  Her actions and words gave Nick enough confidence to propose. Once again Nick is led to believe he's F1 only to be rejected at the end. Nick has most likely moved on. Me not so much. My heart hurts for Nick.

ITA It still seems to me that there was some way of getting through this without having him propose. She knew he loved her, had been through this before and knew how apprehensive he was that being F2 could happen again. Andi let him go before the rose ceremony why didn't Kaitlyn? Sorry but it just seems cruel and heartless. I don't care what TPTB did to manipulate her she should have let him go before a proposal.

Andi making love to Nick was more significant than just "having sex". Andi knew that and I think that is why Nick was confused. K making love to Nick and saying she loved him must have really been confusing. I would have questions for her too. I hope someone asks the questions even if Nick doesn't and he is able to just walk away. I don't know how she could let him propose.

I know FRC happened weeks ago, but we will all watch it for the first time next Monday, so I still am sad. However, I have to say, from the little preview we see, he was so very handsome! Can't wait to see how he looks in ATFR!
BTW, can someone bring forward the photo of him from July 4 where he was on a boat surrounded by a group of women? That woman next to him looks very much like JB. I wonder if one of the reasons it didn't work out was the long distance?

There is nothing she can say to make it better now to soften the blow Nick took. At least at the time she told him she loved him but her heart was with someone else. I believe it came down to lifestyles and she felt she fit in with Shawns lifestyle more. Although she will probably say after the finale she has learned what true love is, Shawn has been willing to look past her former relationships and love her in spite of everything.  

In regards to the bolded, I would say so far.........

This makes me feel ill picturing. I hope it is less brutal than the description but not holding my breath. i will wait and see but to grab his hand and let him go on if it goes as described.............ugh. Now if she grabs his hand to stop it that is one thing but the description makes it seem like the hand grab is to encourage after he gets emotional. Ugh Tuesday can't come soon enough!

In the preview she says she is unsure, she clearly was torn till the last minute. I think she chose shawn based on him fitting into her lifestyle. She said so in the men tell all season fnale preview.
