If the producers are trying to make it look like a SHV snap...fail.  There are other pictures of Nick sitting at that same pool from prior to this season.  In almost the same position....

I agree he has posted these type of pics frequently even without the Bachelorette airing. I just don't think he is trying to make anyone think it is a SHV. I mean he was openly photographed yesterday sitting with a boat full of women for crying out loud. He isn't trying to trick anyone into thinking he may be with Kaitlyn.

GREAT article. Thanks for posting, NR. Loved the author's sharp observations about Shawn.

And in a nutshell: "the people on the show are seeking monogamy but must follow a relationship model, at least for the period of a few months, that does not itself reflect monogamy."

Also interesting comment: "the shamefulness and provincial surrounding sex on the show is not accidental; it is purposefully written into the structure of the show."

The art reference is from "The Creation of Adam" which is a part of Michelangelo's fresco in the Sistine Chapel. 
This same image was recreated by the photographer in the underwater photo shoot done on the first 1-1 date of the season - Kaitlyn & Clint. 
Nicholas is always brilliant when inspired.

Aside: curious as to which producer provided him this pic.  Obviously not a selfie by either Nick or Élan.

Also, media and promos have been hyping this "showdown" most of the season. Obviously Nick finds the whole concept amusing.
