I think Nick was responding to what Kaitlyn wanted.  He never acted like that with Andi.  But Kaitlyn at the beginning of the date told him she wore the shirt so he could touch her.  He gave her what she wanted.  Doesn't Lucas say guys act like guys.  Well if the woman opens the invitation then why not go for it?  To me Kaitlyn was the leader all day, Nick looked to her for the cues and very happily followed them.  I maintain that Nick was an itch that Kaitlyn wanted to scratch before she got engaged.

I guess I feel, Snapchat gate is setting people up for a whole lot of surprises to come ..as in Shawn's behavior. I loved their first 1/1 but its a distant memory almost now. If he's F1, I hope I don't have to wait to FRC to see why!

I have a feeling he will have a great HTD and the most romantic FS, so I doubt you will have to wait.  They have to start giving them something after they have him have his visits to her to let her know to get in line twice in one episode.  

I'm obviously the only who feels possibly K tells Shawn about pre fantasy night and he decides to share with the others...now they are all up in arms and want to know where they stand. We will see.

No, I think this definitely can happen and is why we only have three instead of four guys leaving Ireland. But Kaitlyn always seems to give in to Shawn's confrontations, so even if he did this I think she will blame herself and not him. Now if anyone else did it, I think she would throw them off the show.

To me Shawn was her F1 from day one and it never changed, Nick was just a diversion.

Bingo! I agree...BUT... if you feel the need to scratch that "itch" before you get engaged, then you are not ready to get engaged! Period. You are too immature. By the way, I don't do double standards, so I would say the same thing about men who engage in bachelor party hookups/hookers, and other such nonsense...As always just my opinion.

One more thing and then I will be quiet....what is annoying me is that there were some simply awesome locales this season...Ireland, NYC- I mean THE MET? That could have been an awesome over the top romantic date! I mean, New York City is an awesome place! Ireland is awesome too. The Church in Ireland- that was tarnished by the sleazy making out! Some kissing, yes- but over the top making out is just too much. I just don't think K understands how to be romantic or let a man be romantic. She's too immature yet. Yes, some of this can be blamed on TPTB, but some if it is the lead. JMO.

JMO, but I don't think she fell for it...I think that she was the one initiating a lot of it and giving Nick the signals to feel her up and all that. She WAS the one who was like "I wore a hole-y sweater for you so you can touch my back", so to me that says that before she even went on that date with Nick, she was excited for their physical contact. She's always said in interviews that even if she didn't have sex with him on that date, the same thing would have happened if she waited 10 days for the FS. So, to me, that says that she had always planned to have sex with him and bring him to at least her F3.

It's hard for me to know what a "decent man" would do in this situation, since I'm sure that a lot of other couples on the show have gone past making out on camera (there an article about how Arie grabbed Emily's boobs on a date or something, Courtney talked about how producers would walk in on hjs and bjs), but they just don't show it on air. I'm not naive enough to think that a bunch of horny guys don't go past making out for 8 weeks. I especially think it's different for Nick/Kaitlyn who had been sexting and possibly saw each other naked on FT for months. It's not something I would do, but I think that it was a mutual decision from the start and no one fell for it.

^^^ Thank you so much for this!!! Why does anyone have to be the bad guy/girl in what is obviously a consensual act? Would I do it? No. But it's not my life - it's theirs. Just because Kaitlyn and Nick have different boundaries doesn't make them, either one of them, bad people IMO. From where I sit, Kaitlyn wasn't being led astray and Nick's not a douche for responding to obvious ques.

They had at the least, IMOAA, a SM flirtance initiated by K. The timeline of the sm stuff was posted yesterday by a member(TYVM).

Reality is that a lot of stuff was initiated by Kaitlyn...starting with SM. Allowing him back on the show and making out with him before she even decided if he was going to stay. Then there was her choice of attire for their date...to give him easy access. She was also the one inviting him up to her suite...all giddy with anticipation at the thought of what could happen. She was the one to suggest going into the bedroom. I find it hard to see how Nick is the seducer in all this.

OK!! Maybe I'm giving the producers too much credit. Hey...they saw a potential attraction and EXPLOITED it (as usual...nothing new there!). Maybe alittle coaching and setting the scene, but I guess I'll have to admit both of them were very willing. Kaitlin-- true to her conviction: that if there's any sparks..then she has to feel the fire. And Nick --articulate, aware, and ever watchful of ways to win Kaitlin.
