No way kaitlyn was going to send Shawn home. She said he was the closest she has ever come to love at first sight.

It is obvious to me, even without the snapchat spoiler, that Kaitlyn is/was into Shawn big time, and probably knew early on that he was the one. I don't think she should have told him because that gave Shawn a sense that the "show" or "game" was over and clearly it was not. She had a show to do and should have kept that info to herself and the producers.

TPTB were on her to get the other guys "up to speed," and start acting like a bachelorette. ;)

But what? Would Shawn really be that insecure post show to forbid her from talking about the other guys she had real emotions for? Or that she would feel the inability to talk about her relationships in fear of his anger? Shawn doesn't seem that controlling...and Kaitlyn doesn't seem like she would put up with that at all.

Would she just do it as a loving curtesy to him? Maybe. She sure seems happy post show.

Would she do it because she did not choose him and feels guilty about the edit that he is getting? And she is trying to keep her feelings for the other guy hidden to match the spoilers?

It just doesn't match up. None of those answers seem very plausible. So much doesn't work this season. Kaitlyn is a prankster...maybe she is just loving playing with everyone and chose no one.

At this point I don't know what to believe at this point. This season and it's afterwards is all over the place.

IA but she also said "i'm falling in love with you" when Shawn asked if she was in love with him. As I posted somewhere around here, he is insistent on getting answers from her. Questions as the lead, should not be answering. He puts a guilt trip on her, where she thinks he's going to leave so she gives in to him.

Well, I can't possibly respond to all the posts that I respectfully disagree with so just briefly ...

I strongly disagree that we can assume Shawn is controlling, abusive or dictating any of Kaitlyn's actions post show.  I also think people are much more than how they react under great emotional stress and that one low moment doesn't define their whole character as a person or how caring they might be in a relationship.

The last guy I saw get labeled with the concerns that he was controlling, had anger issues and could be potentially abusive was when JP got jealous in Ashley's season.  And we know what that was - a passionate, genuine, sweetheart of a man falling crazily in love with the love of his life.  

Just my take.

Shawn just tweeted a pic of him sitting on Ben's lap in Dublin with this caption I love his sense of humor. He's embarrassed but he's owning it, just like Kait.

IA relaxing. We don't know post show how they are doing, but I suspect they are having a great time and are enjoying sneaking around. They probably are having a hoot with that. I think they did fall for each other right off the bat and it may very well be love at first sight for both of them. Kaitlyn was very much head over heels for him as was he.

My comments are strictly in the moment, what we are seeing on screen and I hope now that he has the girl, he can move on and not have any animosity towards others who were in the same boat as he was.

It could be that she doesn't acknowledge other relationships because she really didn't develop any. From I am seeing, she isn't fostering anything with anyone else. She and Jared had a lighthearted good time, and she and Nick had a steamy time, but other than that, what is she doing to really get to know these people? I think she was sold/done/kapput after she saw Shawn. Sex with Nick? Just lust and alcohol with producer prodding.

right her blog is not a typical lead blog -- this is the weirdest lead blog i've ever read. every single lead up to this point has been able to give a bit of info about other guy's traits and personalities etc. etc. and keep some element of mystery....this blog is written as if shawn would lose it if she said anything about anyone else

I really wonder if shawn is threatening things (remember that convo with the producer shawn trusts the most where he kept saying he's not sure if he can go through it etc...) and so starting from the filming period shawn has been getting what he asked/pushed for including during the "you're the one" convo and now with these blogs. there's just simply something very weird going on that's not normal this season

We see shawn's temper next episode when he cusses out Nick....this is NOT a JP & Ashley cutsey jealousy episode -- the intensity of shawn's emotions i really don't think we've ever seen before

Yes, yes, I know I personally love to play armchair psychologist on reality TV stars from the comfort of my apartment in strict anonymity and in my very professional board poster opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong or psycho or abusive about Shawn.

She is clearly a very happy camper post-show and was just as crazy over him when they were filming as he was over her. She'd be the needy whackjob if he was the lead and their roles were reversed. Moreover, we'd have chicks crawling out of the woodwork that he's dated from the second grade on claiming what a meanie he is if any such evidence or stories existed.

I seriously need a reset button for this guy in my head -- this joke sounds way too dry that it borders on serious -- am I just not able to see it anymore??!! -- where the heck did the shawn who was sooo hilarious and warm and charming from night one go??

ETA: in any case with this show where there's smoke there's fire we'll see what happens in 6 months time
