Don't forget shawn and kaitlyn are together now and happy.  She wants that and is defending that.  As she should be.  Like I said before, both kaitlyn and shawn are so over Nick and want to move forward with their relationship.  They will be able to in a few weeks.  I bet we see a very giddy couple ready to walk away hand-in hand.  :cutesmile!:

Fan naming would be a great topic for the fan thread. But both those names are awful, their names don't mess well. Maybe just snappie, for their snapchat?

I think she's simply sick of talking about the Nick sex by now. It's been the main talking point for the entire season thanks to TPTB putting it in the season preview, so I can imagine her getting agitated no matter who the guy in question is. It's kind of become the Nick show while her F1 is shown in a negative light at the same time. That must be tough for her. Even if she has nothing against Nick personally, she's bound to be sick of rehashing what happened.

Makes you wonder what kind of Intel she is talking about. Nick visited her after filming, and yesterday Sharleen and Kaitlyn including Andi were hanging out. She totally knows the outcome and how everything went down not the edited version we are seeing play out

I remember that Tiffany from Real World 1 said they can only use what you give them. Kaitlyn had sex before the FS and spent a day doing everything but getting naked with Nick in Dublin, so what did she expect. As for Shawn, again, if he didn't act like a jealous jerk they couldn't show him to be a jealous jerk. I am waiting to hear the actual conversation, but in the preview of their talks he doesn't sound too charming. Now I know they can splice and dice, so I am waiting to see what words we see actually come out of his mouth before judging too much.

TPTB know that sex sells (and that talking about no sex sells- witness Sean's season) and all the tabs and "celebrity" tv outlets know that it sells, too. As soon as it becomes a topic it won't go away... and tptb sure don't want it to. They don't care what the conversation is, just that folks are talking about it which means they are talking about their show which translates, at least in part, to viewers.

I totally agree i will be irritated to be made to talk about something that happened weeks ago over and over. I said we shouldn't try too read read too much into responses. She has to defend her choices and actions in light of how it's been edited to make her look in the eyes of the viewing public.

Yes, Kaitlyn let Nick join the show and had sex with him, so she only has herself to blame for being bombarded with questions and comments about him 24/7. That doesn't mean it isn't taking its toll by now. It's bound to be a bit of a touchy subject considering he was F2, and now it's pretty much the only subject people are interested in. First it was about having pre-FS sex with someone (Nick) and Nick showing up. Then it was about letting Nick join and why and what their relationship before the show was. And now it's about the pre-FS sex again, this time with the added info that it was with Nick. It all revolves around him, which I doubt she realized would happen while she made all these decisions. My point is that I wouldn't take her lack of enthusiasm when it comes to talking about Nick as a sign of them being on bad terms considering everything.

Could it simply be that Kaitlyn is putting down strong boundaries because after so much experimentation with the guys she is finally all in with Shawn. Not to rewrite history but to close one door and leave the right one open. To talk about feelings like they are still equal in her heart would be a mistake , feeding encouragement to Nick and telling Shawn he was an ambivalent choice. For their relationship to be healthy and strong, she had to choose and put boundaries. She was vaccilating between two attractions and the process led her to discover which connection was stronger. Why is she berated for not keeping the same feelings that she had initially?

Yeah, she even said that in her periscope that she truly felt like she was falling in love with all of her F3. I love Jillian - favorite Bachelorette ever, even though I will never understand her decision to pick Ed over Reid. Kaitlyn reminded me a lot of Jillian, but now I'm starting to see signs of Andi in her that bother me. I do kind of understand why if you had REAL feelings for someone, you want to show your fiancé and the rest of the world that it wasn't real, which is why I always felt Andi was so emotion-less at the ATFR. I think that's why Des seemed a little irritated with Brooks at the ATFR too.

Feelings changed on her side towards Nick. Does that make her a bad person?

Of course feelings change hence her final chose is Shawn. I think people are watching the show as if it's happening in the moment so K has to respond based on what was shown. People are forgetting she is reliving it all over with her f1 seeing her connections with other guys and that in itself must be stressful on K and how she has to explain her actions to S and the general public.

Yeah, I don't really understand the expectation for her to keep stroking Nick's ego saying he's wonderful when she's just ehh and meh and whatever, can we move on now, when it comes to him. I like Kait and while I think she's made a big mistake with the pre fs bang session (TM Shawn), I think she's doing the best she can while remaining true to herself, as honest as she can be and protecting her fledging relationship. I don't know what more I can ask from her, as a fan really.
