The Bachelorette 11 - Kaitlyn Bristowe - Epi 7 Jun 29th - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I've realized from reading that last several pages that I watch the show with a different mindset than I used to. I find I'm getting less and less invested each season.

1. I don't care about the future of the final couple or at least don't think about it while watching. I just watch the show and enjoy (or not) as it goes and then when it's over I tend to move on rather quickly.

2. I try to give the cast a break and not assume that the way they act on the show is how they would in a real life situation. At home you don't have people talking and encouraging you to do or say certain things. The Bachelor Bubble is very effective and works on even otherwise sane and attractive people who would never put up with it irl.

3. I don't have a pony in the race for f1 so find I don't get worked up at all about the actions of one vs the other. That's very freeing. Sometimes I do prefer one over the other even if they're not my favorites of course. This season I like Kaitlyn with Shawn more than with Nick but would be fine either way.

4. Editing editing editing. If you get annoyed with someone or the lead cries too much or why aren't they showing the love you can look at Fleiss and the editors. We can be sure that there's wonderful fun dates where we only saw the serious part.

The storyboard was put together on night one.  Nick's return was planned BEFORE the season even started. It was to be Nick vs. Kaitlyn's final 1.  It ended up being Shawn, but if she had said night 1 my guy is Ben Z., then it would have been Nick vs. Ben Z.  

TPTB have a "story" to tell.  We will continue to get more of Nick vs. Shawn but TPTB will bring the redemption, or dare I say "love story" of Shaitlyn!  Hehe!  Their will be a shift and it will happen.  Mark my words.  

Everyone has a favorite and every season when their guy is not the winner, they discredit the lead and her choice.  This is a silly scripted show.  Shawn and Kaitlyn have a slim chance of making it.  We will know more when we see them at the ATFR.  ;)

Time will tell as I always say.

I am not sure how Shawn suppose to react. It's human nature that if you fall in love with someone and that someone is telling you that you are the one, I'm in love with you as well. All's good. Suddenly you walking in a room and she has her tongue down someone throat and that someone's hand is up her dress. How is he suppose to feel. He's only human. And then he finds out she had sex as well. oy vey.

IMO Nick seems so smug this season.  I'm not a fan of his but that doesn't explain away the fact that he doesn't seem honest or genuine to K.  He doesn't even seem to look her in the eye when he tells her something important.  I think he's getting paid for all of it.  More $$ every time he creates more drama or gets K to chose him, give him a rose, kiss him, do the deed, etc.  I think he's just seeing $$$ because he can't even keep a straight face most of the time.

Yes, I do agree that Nick's return was planned before the season and he was always going to be in the F2.  Guess that's why I am having a hard time seeing anything with Nick this year.  Seems like this whole show is all manipulated.  Everyone just seems to be going in the wringer or through the motions.  Like I stated earlier, TPTB continue to throw questions out about the final couple and the mindset of the F1 and the lead making me question what we will be seeing ATFR. I don't think anyone is looking great at this point, including Nick. At this point, I am beginning to believe Kait really is single.

I know. He thought he had it in the bag and then when she comes out all worried and not excited about non fiance stuff, he cried a river.
His expression when she was telling him not to rat them out, men. What was Nick saying on SM last night? Did he post anything?

 What Josh is referring to I have no idea but Andi was honest with him and they both admitted it.

Yeah, she is making Shawn feel insane when really, there are two things at play here, and both are her eff-ups.

She shouldn't have said anything to him beyond she hopes he can stick with her because she feels something special AND she shouldn't be lying to him and making him feel crazy when she knows she's hiding a major secret from him with Nick.

Kait is a screw-up as a lead, for real. At least they're both looking bad so maybe it'll help their future relationship

as much as I agree with your points -- the fact of the matter is that these are real relationships being forged between people who have very real feelings and their behaviors and decisions would impact those real relationships and real feelings whatever might happen beyond the show or even during the show (including producer manupilation).

I find the relationship building and the dynamics interesting in spite of the ending and what I am seeing now is a set of relationships that had started to be formed and to grow ...then now reaching a screeching halt due to some intense emotions and decisions and actions. Different individuals are reacting differently to everything or making decisions about the way they interact ...and that has consequence -- shawn, ben, nick, kaitlyn... what I'm seeing right now is not very healthy JMHO....

the setting is not healthy but there are some who are able to keep their marbles as the show films and this is just not seeming like that kind of season...on the contrary I'm seeing a domino effect where "it all starts falling down" - how and in what way some of the people rebuild and whether what forms is sustainable post show...we are yet to see...I don't put the drama solely on producers cos producers do their manipulating in any season. pre-fs sex has happened before, contestants have reacted intensely before -- but still this has become a perfect storm

^^^^ Alanna, I still love "my" Kaitlyn! She is a screw-up lead and yup, their relationship will prob be stronger as they sit on the phone with each other now and laugh at themselves. ;)

Happy kaitlyn is not single and I for one am grateful that she spoiled it for us. If I had not seen Shawn and Kait in bed looking all "cozy", I would be worried about her.
