I still  think  Nick would've been  the most logical choice- the question  about  sex with him would make more sense but choosing  Shawn creates more problems ,  the media would  be  fixated on that during  their  media rounds. Telling  Shawn he was the one so early  has already been resolved on the show  by her saying  that was how she felt  in the moment plus getting physical  with Nick- how much clearer could  that be that she definitely  wasn't  thinking  about  Shawn.
I actually  don't  feel  like  she did  Shawn any favors by choosing  him because  those  interviews  are going  to  be  brutal.

Right Lex, I still believe she has unresolve feelings and after last night I am glad Nick is not the one she choose because he will find someone who will like the authentic guy I saw last night. His edit is softening and now I am more curious about him.

Let me get this straight...telling Shawn he was the one was a mistake and afterwards having sex with Nick was a mistake with both "mistakes" seemingly on the same level to her.

Nick may seem authentic to YOU, but he still does not look her in the eye when he speaks....to me that is not authentic.
IMO, allowing Nick on this show is a Nick wanting more fame plant, and producer, more drama plant.

As I said before, Nick can find tons of women in Chicago. Kaitlyn is not the only woman on earth. It's about TV and ratings.

I am judging by what I see on my screen. He did look her in the eye but not everyone is comfortable exposing their inner most emotions to the camera. I dont know nick but the Nick I saw last night was real. If you know him and can attest to a different person then that is different.

I actually think the idea to cut from 6 to 3 was not totally Chris Manson's. I think K was quite on board with this. For all we know it was her decision. :Nod: 
 This way she no longer would be "the bad guy" and have to pretend she was having a great time with guys she really had no interest in being with. 
What a horrible energy suck to have to pretend you want to be on a date, if that is the last thing you want. Pretending for hours if that isn't in you mindset and heart is dead weight. Take away 3 of the guys and you have one left you like a lot, one you think you are in love with and one that needs to be there to maximize his fan base for his TB gig.

From what we saw last night -- she was coasting carefree and happy-go-lucky, opening up, filled with hope and love and excitement -- high spirits (through to her sqt with jared after the group date). that is until the moment Shawn came to confront her the first time and ask point blank -- are you in love with me? Other leads have been told they are likely F1 very early on including Roberto and JP and nobody has reacted in a way that shawn has. I think more than anything Shawn's behavior following the Jared GDR (likely egged on by producers who know about what happened with Nick & wanting to incite drama...[at least that's my guess]) threw the whole season into a new loop. After that confrontation -- K started retreating, S's fear was contagious, she was so focused on drama throughout the season and the one-on-one dates had started soo late in the game (1 one-on-one/week till w4 with guys who both left by killarney ...) in the grand scheme of how things have gone this season she reallyyy doesn't know these guys very well!

I believe her relationships were going at diff speeds up to that point and they were all pretty early stage -- nothing rooted and deep yet - mostly flirtatious and passionate and fun. This was the week maybe things would flip to being more serious but then what happened in the confrontations brought everything to a halt partly cos of how strongly she felt for shawn and also how his insecurities were making him go crazy. I do think K having sex this early also contributed to her anxiety with Shawn's confrontations ...cos the interactions with shawn made her on high alert riddled with guilt and fear of heartbreak ....that's a very hard position to find herself in if she's also worn out and sleep deprived AND trying to continue to forge these relationships.

I'll be curious to see if there was sufficient evolution and getting to know you processes with these guys to really lead to a proposal based on a true vulnerable and deep connection. I think nick took a step forward with her this week by going emotional and i do think ben took a very very tiny step forward as well but for the most part the drama is being a huge obstacle and it seems to happen week after week after week....that's a lot of hurdles for true healthy intimacy to keep building. I also think her intense emotions from shawn's confrontations are completely distracting to her ...

I saw a K who may have been capable to explore and weed out the right guy for her. unfortunately, her own instinctual actions (telling shawn and having sex) as well as shawn's instinctual reactions are getting in the way of any real deliberation and exploration

The whole Shawn & Kaitlyn storyline is fishy to me. I think there's A LOT of producer manipulation going on with them. I have a hard time believing that he can just "choose" to go visit K whenever he wishes because he knows her room number. And I have an even harder time believing that production wasn't behind her visit "off camera" to Shawn & Ben H's room. I think they both are being completely and utterly mind f*cked (for lack of a better word). And I agree that they can't use it if you don't say it....but I think producers are heavily prodding this storyline.

I also completely believe that if you don't play well with production they will give you a bad edit. I think Kaitlyn's snapchat incident is now being vindicated in the K&S edit...and more directly in K's edit. They're going to crucify and vilify her worse than they would have without the snapchat incident.
