Are they planning on doing a follow up with season 1 contestants...? Imagine on with season 2 a year from now..wow... I'm also suprised no one has mentioned anything about this all being fake. I highly doubt that it is but they did pursue acting before all this..

I thought you had to be served a restraining order by hand from a police officer and they must be signed for.
I was thinking their wedding date was 12-11-14 and they can file for divorce exactly 6 months later and Jess filed that paper work 6-11-15. EXACTLY 6 months later to the day. Does anyone think they are divorce/annulment papers? Divorce papers can be left at a residence as long as a second copy is sent by certified mail with return receipt signature. I only know this as I am going through a divorce myself.
The papers have to be served to Ryan, they couldn't be left with anybody.
I don't think Jess can legally file for divorce until at the very least the 6 months plus 6 week mark.

Re: Married At First Sight - Season 2 - Ryan DeNino - Jessica Castro - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*
Unfortunately, I have experience with NY family court and restraining orders. What Ryan posted is an order of protection- that's what NY calls them. In NY if you are married, live with the person, have a child together or any domestic relationship, the order of protection has to come from family court. Jess would go before a judge and show proof that she was in danger and show cause to have a order of protection. Also, the fact that she signed it the 11th and he received it on the 12th is concerning. To get an order of protection that quickly through family court she would have to show proof that she was in immediate danger and the case would have been seen an as emergency. If the case isn't seen as an emergency that process can take up to two weeks from when she signed the petition. Also, the order that he receives does not have the charges listed. It just spells out the terms of the order.
Also, in New York, divorce is petitioned through Supreme Court, since they don't have kids, the only thing she would be able to petition in family court is an order of protection.

Jess was still posting Team Castro hashtags until recently and she now feels threatened? She is just as bad as she wants people to believe Ryan is. If he went on the show for acting gigs, she did too for modelling gigs. She has been busy reposting old modelling pictures on sm. I have a problem with the fact she always acted in a way that made the guy look bad, on the show and SM. She is no victim IMHO, they are both in the same boat. Was he hot tempered and did he say nasty things? yes, but so did she. Things didn't work out? big deal move on with your life.
I am so over them all. Only one who came out smelling of roses this season in my book is Jaclyn.

Thank you Kd1002 that is even more worrying that after a judge has seen proof that he deemed it an emergency. I thought it might be like here that a temporary one is automatically granted and then it goes before a judge who rules if a permanent one is granted or all record of it wiped.

Re: Married At First Sight - Season 2 - Ryan DeNino - Jessica Castro - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*
Importantly to me, Jess is represented by an attorney (not necessary for order of protection) -- his name is the notary public. He specializes in divorce and family law, as well as some labor and employment. The lawyer has experience in high profile divorce. http://nypost.com/2015/04/03/former-trainers-ex-wife-throws-curve-into-clemens-settlement/
Here is an article he wrote, addressing in part, overlapping jurisdiction of Family and Supreme Courts in NYS for divorce and orders of protection between spouses, etc.
http://ezinearticles.com/?New-York-Domestic-Violence-Law:-How-to-Get-an-Order-of-Protection-in-Family-Court&id=7643864
So, the involvement of an experienced family/matrimonial lawyer by itself brings a certain credibility and orderliness to the steps. This means that whatever went down online and offline between the two of them after the Decision Day until the last day they cohabited (probably not long thereafter), and thereafter online or in texts and phone calls, etc. was probably well recorded and preserved with an eye toward (a) annulment grounds, not merely divorce, and (b) personal safety.
Personally, it does seem credible as well that the same body of evidence was sufficient to (perhaps) persuade Production and Network that she needed personal escort by private security.
That showing alone would be fairly persuasive to a judge ("I am married to this person because of a television show contract. I was deceived. He is verbally abusive, as captured on tape, and it escalated thereafter." Given the bias toward protection, that seems an easy case.
It is also possible that the divorce papers were filed simultaneously. The fact that June 11 was six months to the day or nearly that is revealing of a coherent strategy.
#WomenSupportingWomen and all that.
This lawyer has the network in an awkward place.
Divorce is public. Even if this family court stuff is not.
And (UNLIKE Survivor, etc.) regardless of a contract and confidentiality agreement and promises to arbitrate, this mess has to be sorted out legally in front of judges.
So, this creates the opportunity to tell a full story, in court, without fear of libel/slander/defamation (statements made in good faith in a legal pleading are not actionable as defamation etc.). And that ladies and gentlemen, is what I would call Leverage.
For all I know she is inventing his abusiveness, and "drug use" or dealing. My only point is that once he gave them that footage of a complete crazy person, Jess fell into the proverbial tub of butter, in terms of having some leverage to get out of the Experiment on her terms.
Jessica has all the makings of a Payout here, just my opinion. (well done, "experts")
Maybe all the girls have the same lawyer, LOL. They got a group rate.
This show shocks the conscience if you step back.
Come on people, lurking and reading from other boards -- you have to admit it is the Ultimate New York Story!! All the boroughs are represented, and even a Jersey side plot, and there are laundromats and Jersey gay bowling leagues, allegations of gangs and closeted homosexuality, drug use, a Momma's Boy that lives in the basement and won't sleep away from home, a Puerto Rican scrapping beauty, a Southeast Asian Upper East side "diva" ... how could you make it up! It's a Broadway musical for crying out loud.
And Dr. Cilona can play the Joel Gray part "Wilkommen, Bienvenue Welcome!" and all that!
And there is even the Jeering Internet Crowd, like Roman citizens watching gladiators, or like the mirror at the end of Cabaret ... yes indeed, in the end this Greek tragedy is maybe more about the audience -- gullible, skeptical, angry, supportive, naive, romantic, whatever, but without them, this play would not exist.
Hang on ... I'm going to go file for some copyrights on the lyrics. Hahahaha.

Re: Married At First Sight - Season 2 - Ryan DeNino - Jessica Castro - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*
I don't know,
If a had been one of my great and highly educated sisters that had been arranged toi be married to either a:
1) A person with a recent arrest record, piled on with what many of us believe to be pyschopathetic tendencies
2) A person that uses and has been alledged to use drugs and behaves erratically
I would hope that I see the absolute worst in my siblings ... no one should be placed in this type of position.
They were legally wed by a so called set of experts with entails reasonable assurances that an equal quality partner has been selected.
Seeing the big picture I have nothing but respect for both Davina and Jess.
We are going to find out more about Jac's (and the other) situations on Tuesday. I looked at the A&E reunion tape...at first I thought that the person walking out of the interview was Ryan D, but looking closer at the color of the suits it looks like Ryan R's back! Sean was not wearing a suit..?..
Trying to figure out how to post this up.
Plain and simple...either the selection was rushed by the networks and/or the MAFS-2 selection staff didn't do their job...maybe they thought that they could wing it?

@deb_ehrich Who is saying all of this & how do they know what's fact & fiction? That's my biggest question. #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight
There's a "Pntrdav007 @dhoward79" that tweeted that this site 'started the whole mess'...WTH??? This is dreadful.

@dhoward79 @jamienotis The site didn't cause the mess, the experts and the couples did. In my humble opinion.
