If she acts like she did on the FD, then IMO Shawn will not be concerned in the slightest. Also in the past many leads have been really checked out and closed off with their F2 on the LCD - it seems by then the show allows them to be that way - or can't stop them from being that way.

I hope for their sake , she does seem checked out during LCD . If Shawn is as insecure as the tabloids paint him to be, viewing her acting in love with Nick and genuinely torn at the FRC might cause him to doubt that she's over Nick IMO. Hopefully she's prepared him for it and any other surprises. I do think he seems very happy in his recent SM and pics with fans so I do think they had a very good SHV last weekend.

Love the family portrait from my 2 favorites this season. I love that when they talk about family being important to them it is so legit - like they both seem to be best friends with their sisters' and spend a lot of their day to day lives together having fun. So nice to see between siblings and I think it speaks to both their characters as people.

I think the thing I'm most disappointed about his season is missing 4 hometown dates. I would have loved to "meet" both these sisters (maybe we will with Shawn's IDK at this point) and seen their family's interactions. Would have loved to 'meet' Cupcakes family too. Bad call TPTB IMO on no HTDs. I hope once the general audience realized there are no HTDs there's a big stink on twitter about it so they don't go that route again next year.

^^^ I agree! I love the HTDs and I hope they bring them back next season. I am looking forward to seeing Shawn's family. This season seems so backwards. Fantasy dates before meet the families seems weird.

I remember when I saw him on the Meet the Contestants portion of the premiere, I thought he had model good looks (the bone structure, the hair, etc) so I figured he'd be arrogant and kind of a snob. Boy, was I wrong! He's an utter sweetheart. A little too nice for Kaitlyn's taste tho. She would've eaten him alive if they started a real life relationship. Same thing with Ben H. Good on paper but not doable (no pun intended) in real life.
