How is Nick paying for anything? They just sent K to Chicago, not forced Nick to do anything, he lives in Chicago, so what does it matter to him?

He's not. Not directly. But TPTB flew K to Whit where Nick lives. It creates the rumor mill just by association.

If there was nothing Nick related they would have flown Kaitlyn to Becca in California and flown Whit out there too.

You can make it difficult to have someone use you, if you don't allow yourself to be used and just stay out of the cray. It's not impossible. Just live your life and hold your head up and keep moving one step at a time. Staying at least an arm's length away from them is a good start.

Snapchatgate brought the SH to a crashing halt. I am suppose to think it is normal to fly both to La for like 1 day then suddenly have K fly to hang with Whit and then have Becca fly out at end of weekend? to Chicago where the assumed F2 happens to reside? they atleast want to imply she could be seeing Nick thus indirectly involving him

... on SM the gossip diffused that Kaitlyn is in Chicago for Nick (with him), on IG you can read comments by people believing they're together (I'm that much more amazed they haven't seen the real spoiler yet), then there is gossip about him dating Whitney, about him wanting to date every girl from TV franchise ... so yeah ... all good advertisement for Nick - not. TPTB knew where to send Kaitlyn to celebrate her birthday ... or where to send Shawn to be spotted in public eye after a month of no fan-photos... I assume we can credit TPTB for that.

yes, they're diverting the attention from kaitlyn's stupid mistake by sending her to chicago but it's not like they forced the two to make a snapchat video of them together to really confuse people so i wouldn't go as far as say they're making nick pay.

Right, they're just muddying the waters. What does it matter? He would have been speculated to be with Kait anyway for the next 6 weeks if she hadn't posted that video. Nothing changes for him imo.

Imo, the fact that there is no evidence of Nick with Kaitlyn actually supports the rumor that K is there to see Nick. It builds the whole suspense which is what most people fall for.

Most people don't believe what is obvious because it is too obvious and so don't believe that K would send a snapchat of herself with Shawn. It is why some claim it is a hoax.

They're using Nick because he's the spoiled F2 and he is really the only guy that fans are commenting on as having a connection with Kaitlyn. If everybody had thought Ben H. or Jared was F1 prior to Snapchatgate, they probably would have sent Kaitlyn to his hometown, and dug up some Bachelor Nation alum for her to hang out with there.

The producers' machinations are about as subtle as a brick wall.

... and then people claim Nick is the attention seeker (which I don't dispute) ... only that not all the attention is his doing.

Just by being F2, Nick will get the negativity focused on him - whether he caused it or not - because it only reinforces why F2 is not F1.
