IA ^^ as a Nick Chick it was pretty hard to read K's blog -- it was like he didn't even exist.

If they still had a friendship at a minimum, I'm sure K would have talked about him as a person in her blog. He doesn't really need to stand up for her.

It would be good if someone could try..

I thought the exact same thing about her blog. How could they have a date like that (never mind the sex part) and then not say something kind about him. He deserved a little tlc and I feel she should of stuck up for what she felt for him at the time. He was spoken about only as an apology of something she did. It truly broke my heart, especially with how much he has publicly supported her. It spoke volumes to me that there must be very little left between them, even as friends. The whole Blog was an apology to Shawn in my opinion.

And did she really think he told the guys. It sounds like according to Nick it didn't happen and even Sharleen said that the key word (intimate), was probably pulled from another conversation as you can clearly see he didn't say it there.

All I saw last night was a great connection between them and then Shawn yet again showing zero understanding or respect for Kaitlyns decisions or actions.

By the time K realises what a catch Nick is it will be too late,some lucky lady would be "unwrapping Nick the enigma for life" lmao. I think K still loves and respect Nick, however she distancing herself to not even give any credence to their connection to indicate she has moved on. It's all good. But I just need Nick to stop supporting her on SM and let go.

This reminds me last time when Nick was on the show, during HTD week, Andi posted pictures of her and other contestants, but just herself in Nick's hometown.
I truly hope Kaitlyn and Nick parted amicably, because he's been supportive of her on SM. Clearly she's with Shawn and is trying to protect of his feelings, which is good for the couple, but I can't help feeling bittersweet for Nick. They once shared something special, and I don't know if they could even be friends after all these.
I wonder how long he will continue to support her publicly.

I think Nick & Kaitlyn could be just as happy together (excellent & calm communication, matching humor, similar values/outlook on life, sustainable physical attraction) as they could be happy apart. JMO Nick wants a woman who is loyal and sees him as the only option worth committing to. He want to be accepted for who he is but is open to improving with her. He wants what we all want ... to be loved, cared about, special to someone.
 Kaitlyn embracing a guy who is so markedly different in style  - who wants her to "chase" him, asks her to validate his emotions brought on from stress in the environment, made reference to bonking 2 other guys in the FS as a possibility,etc... plus good qualities as well -  sets a presidence that Nick will never attempt to be like. In the long term, she can't be the right person for Nick if she wants key traits he doesn't have to offer.  
Unfortunately, under the circumstance of what has transpired on the show, I think if she did reject his rumoured proposal or even if he didn't propose but she did choose Shawn, I can't see how their previously built friendship could survive. There is no reason not to support her on Twitter at this time so it's not really an indication of anything. After all, caring in a sometimes cruel world is merely how some people operate whether they know the person or not, whether the person is part of their past or present. Empathy.

I have to admit, when I first read Nick's tweet last night, my first reaction was Please No More Tweeting! Then I calmed down a bit, I felt there's nothing wrong with what he posted, but when he posted, the timing was not right. Then today after reading more posts here, I think da$$ if he does, and da$$ if he doesn't. For non fans, they can always find fault with Nick no matter what he says or not saying anything.
I do think he's mature on SM. He defends Kaitlyn without bashing others. Again, I can't imagine why wasting energy to read someone's posts and responding when you don't like that person. IF the spoiler is true that he proposed and was rejected, his continuous public support of Kaitlyn shows he truly cares for her as a friend. I may have a different view on sex than Nick's, but I admire his openness and honesty.

Totally agree with what Sharleen said about Nick :

Y'all Nick is fine. He is happy and okay, if he wants to tweet support to K, let him, because that is the man that Nick is. If some want to think it is Nick trying to get her back, then that is their problem. Nick doesn't care.

I too wish Kaitlyn had been a bit nicer about Nick in her blog, but I get it. She had very obvious sex with a man who isn't her F1, so she feels the need to minimize for her F1. It happens all the time, with every lead. Just usually it is in the FS and not shown so obviously on the tv.

Again, I am a okay with it, because Nick is okay. He is 100% better than he was last summer and maybe this adventure helps him find his happy medium which I think is a woman somewhere between A and K.

As always I love me some Nick and understand why K couldn't stop and that was what happened, K didn't want to stop.

What does the ring look like that Kaitlyn got from Nick? She did an interview with Eonline today and at the 3:50 mark they asked if she was happy, and then panned down to her hands. She was wearing that tusk ring and then one on her other hand on the middle finger. (Don't know how to screen cap her to bring it over)

I think it was two hand, a heart in the middle with a crown on it.  You're right, this one is a little darker then the one they showed on last night episode.

Yeah, there were Claddaughs. Nick was wearing it in the screen cap of her in the lacy white dress. He it also looked like he was wearing it in the bar in the pic with his friend that Jaclyn took, but he hasn't been seen wearing it since.

Anyway, I think he'll be okay no matter what the outcome. N&K's date was totally adorable, they seemed to be having fun, and they really had a natural chemistry, and it seemed like they actually talked a lot too (but of course TPTB aren't going to show that because it's boring). I just hope that Kaitlyn isn't so blinded by her "Brooks" that she doesn't realize what she possibly has in front of her....

And Sharleen really is the best.
