WTG Sherlock. We could have told you that before Andi told us she's writing a book.

She even told that herself in some interview a while back. It's hardly some insider scoop.

It's interesting how he never called Courtney out on "selling out" and airing dirty laundry for a paycheck, and, in fact, endorsed her book. It's so obvious who RS's sources are.

I never pay for books and just share ebooks with friends but oh boy, I will be first in line for the Andi book. I'll even venture to a bookstore which I haven't done since the days of each new Harry Potter if that's my only option. She better not freaking disappoint me!

As we know, RS has said several times that Andi is going to be spilling dirt on her relationship with Josh in this book and that what she has written in her journal about him is likely not so good.  But the only people who should know what she wrote in her journal are Andi and her editor. Unless of course Andi shared with others (friends, parents, Bach producers, etc.), which she likely did.  So to me, RS is most likely getting his info from someone in Andi's camp.  It would certainly benefit her the most for people to think she's going to spill juicy details. That's just generating that much more interest in her book.  Heck, RS even said in one of his recent columns that he definitely plans to read it because of the dirt she is allegedly going to spill.  So he can call her out about capitalizing on her fame all he wants, but he is still basically giving her book a ringing endorsement.

I just meant, in general, it's pretty obvious that the Murray family had been a major source for RS. It's why he hasn't really said a bad word about Josh, hasn't joked about his new girlfriend, hated Nick, vehemently denied reports of Andi and Aaron hooking up, knew about Andi/Josh breakup days before it happened, and, now, keeps attacking Andi for doing the same thing Courtney did.

IMO Courtney never acted like Andi after her season. She went back to her life and pretty much stayed away from TPTB . She did not post much on IG or Twitter . She paid her own bills and did not act like a spoiled brat.She did not try to endorse everything that came her way. She also sent a copy of her book to Ben and Arie.  I think there is quite a difference between Courtney and Andi.

But in terms of Andi's book, The Murrays don't make any sense as a source.  Regardless of what Andi actually ends up writing about Josh in this book, RS is making it sound pretty negative, which is only bad for Josh's reputation, even if none of it is true. How would he or his family benefit from having RS talk about this book at all?  They wouldn't.  But Andi sure would. Her camp is a much more likely source, especially since they have the inside scoop on what actually is being published.  Whoever may have tipped him off, I don't think RS is attacking Andi, just calling it like he sees it. Whereas Courtney supposedly wrote her book to clear up her "villain" status,  Andi didn't need to prove anything. She already had her chance to tell her side of the story with her CH interview. There is no good reason for writing this book and exploiting her exes except for her own selfish reasons, fame and money.

In regards to the rest of what you said, RS hasn't been all that kind to Josh, especially when talking about his desire to be the next Bachelor. Why would he joke about the new GF when the girl is private and very little is known about her. I think RS dislikes Nick because of Nick's own actions, nothing to do with Josh, and he likely denied the Andi/Aaron rumor because it was just ridiculous and he knew it.

I think Chasing meant the Murrays was/have been the source all along, not about this book in particular. I remember this has been widely suspected during the season because of all the more favourable comments made by RS to Josh.

who would have thought Courtney turned out to be lesser of an entitled brat than meAndi.

Courtney went back to her life? Before or after the Arie publicity stunt?  She also dished on their sex life and bashed Ben's mom in her book, two things I suspect Andi won't delve into, but we'll see. 

I still think Andi will maintain a little bit more tact when she sells out Josh.
