Andi Dorfman - The Bachelorette 10 - Discussion - #4

I agreed with Andi last night. If Nick didn't have regrets, there was no need to be bitter, which most people viewed Nick as a year ago on the ATFR, but that's over and done with. I would bet in Andi's eyes, she probably doesn't think she should have been brought up last night. It's in the past. I think Andi has been pretty tame with her social media, but I thought it was pretty funny when she favorited a tweet that had Josh tagged in it that basically mentioned how even though they both thought it would work out but it didn't, her and Josh could still bond over their hate of Nick

In regards to MM showing support for Andi, that's nice and I'm not really surprised. She did that starting with Andi's whole fiasco with Eric and has continued to do so. In many ways, even some of Josh's tweets have indirectly shown support for Andi.

Did Nick say he didn't have regrets? That's weird, because in his interview with Ali last year, he specifically said "I hate when people say they have no regrets. Of course, I have regrets". He talked about how he wished he could have been more delicate with that question.

I didn't feel like Nick or the Viall family said anything negative about Andi, TBH. If someone had broken by son's heart, I would probably irrationally dislike them, even I knew that it wasn't her fault. I felt like they were pretty rational and fair towards her. I also thought that Nick mainly brought up Andi to say that although he loved her, he still had questions and doubts about their relationship (fair, since he only spent like 48 hours with her) and didn't have any with Kaitlyn (fair, since they had a relationship prior to filming).

Whatever in regards to Nick..... I am glad to see that MM doesn't hate Andi., as some thought.....

^ I certainly agree with you about Nick's family. I particularly liked that his mother mentioned that she didn't essentially see that twinkle in Andi's eye when she was with Nick and that he looked more happy than she was (too bad he didn't listen to his mother a year ago).

If I was Andi when I saw that Nick brought me up again in regards to his relationship with Kaitlyn last night, I would probably be thinking that it's in the past. You're on a new season chasing a new girl. Leave me out of it and stop comparing me and another woman. They are/were two separate relationships. People will see this differently. I tend to see it the way Andi probably saw it judging by her SM.

^ That's exactly what I took from it. They spent more time comparing the two instead of focusing on his and Kaitlyn's relationship. I'm sure Andi had much to say about that but glad she kept it quiet.

I thought they edited this 5mins clips for drama's sake. Of course they have to highlight Nick has been blindsided last time, just so they have a more "dramatic" FRC that Nick is blindsided again.

It's actually not about MeAndi that much, the fam were talking about the incident happened as a whole. just like every other concerned parents, they told the lead how heartbroken their son/daughter was last time, just happened we knew the last girl of Nick, so they can easily refer her by name.

I dont understand why this is an issue with Nick or his fam, when every fam did that. And I see nothing against MeAndi was talked at all.

And MeAndi knows she led someone's son on and keep trashing him, of course she had nothing to say about it. But who knows, this is a classless brat we are talking about, she may trash him again in her book.

Of course it was editing. They take hours and hours of film and cut 95% of it out. How could it not be editing? The entire storyboard we are fed is from editing.

I did not view Nick as being bitter last year. I thought he was hurt, confused and looking for answers at the AFTR. Andi...now she was bitter to me.

As for bringing up Andi during the meet the parents it was much as I expected. If his storyline this season is as the heartbroken, blindsided F2...again...they have to bring up what happened last season just to make it all seem so much more dramatic. All in all, I thought it was pretty tame.

I just re-watched that scene and Nick clearly says "You asked me in comparison to last time...and, you know I don't like to compare, but that is the last time I said ILY". I think that it's only a big deal because it's Andi; I think that's a pretty normal conversation for any two people in a new relationship to have. Like, what went wrong with your past relationship, what do you see in me that you didn't see in them, how do you feel about me vs. them, etc. I don't blame Kaitlyn for asking, and I think that Nick answered the question in the most honest and respectful way he could. He has spent a lot more time with Kaitlyn than he ever did with Andi; that itself is enough reason for him not to have the doubts that most people who only interact on the show have.

It's impossible for us to know how much time they've truly spent talking about Andi, but I would think it would be TV gold to have Nick dissing Andi, so I truly don't think it's happened on-camera. I think one conversation so far discussing Nick's ex isn't bad at all and doesn't mean that they haven't focused on their own relationship.

^ Yes it's fine for Nick and Kaitlyn to be talking about his relationship with Andi, I mean more the conversation with his family and his mom, what they all said.

I think what was said about Andi was very fair and not at all throwing her under the bus like she subtweeted/tweeted with lots of buses.

I really don't know what Andi expects.
She said she never loved/wasn't in love with Nick and dumped him.
She dumped him.

Why does she get to have any feelings about how his family or Nick feel about this?
They have every right to feel whichever way they want.

The way she acts is like Nick dumped her.
Ridiculous, imo.
