I didn't get the Nick hate, I really don't.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't see a big connection between K and Shawn...or at least they aren't showing us much of a connection. I specifically watched for the big bear hugs someone mentioned last night but frankly I feel like they all hug her and it's just not that convincing. Basically, I don't feel like TPTB have allowed the viewers to get to know Shawn yet.

^ Yup, ITA luvstux. It may have to do with Nick coming on the show and the F3 getting screentime (single date roses for Shawn & Ben H, GDR for Nick) in Ep 5 -- so this is when the season starts. Still, I'm not quite buying what he is selling. Edit plays a big role in how audiences can like someone... so I am weary of accepting a *good* edit at face value. If that person is not F1, it usually serves TPTB purpose for alternate reasons.

In the season preview: We saw Kaitlyn and Shawn standing together by sumo date....then words "may the best man win"....then we saw Nick and Kaitlyn all giddy about him. Foreshadowing? It felt like deja vu for this episode.

I have said that long time ago with may the best man win and Nick follow those words, Nicks got this.

I understand that, I guess this is more about what the society expects a man to be. But here are what I think:
1. If you have sex with right reasons, what is it to be ashamed of?
2. People focused too much about the feeling of Andi, what about nick's feeling, if he really is there for the right season? I really didn't see he is not.
3. People handle breakup differently, Nick happened to be a sensitive guy who needs closure, and he asked why she led him on.

Back to Kaitlyn, she obviously knew what happened last season and I believe she didn't find that was an issue so she chatted with him before filming. She kept Nick on the show based on her own judgment, not based on what other expected her to do.

That's right her judgement.  She has a gander of him from all those months of talking and if Nick could tell his friends about 10 beers worth of her personality and 30 seconds of her looks it says a lot in my book, yes I do believe he is there for the right reasons just hope in her darkest hour on the show she will look back and see he was interested enough to come on again to get her.


I might be the last one sitting on that bus with my cup of tea but I am not moving Nick got this.

And I'm really glad he asked the question and I don't care that it was on national TV. "She toyed with him, knowing the engagement was on the line and Josh was the one, and shut him down for any closure....". I don't get Andi being the victim here.

And I know "they all do it" but I don't understand it. Andi knew she was picking Josh but had sex with Nick anyway. Not nice especially knowing how Nick felt about her and sex in the FS. JMO.

Kaitlyn knows all of this about Nick and likes him anyway. She must see enough potential with him to give it a shot. They both were aware that her deciding to keep him would not be easy for either of them.She was brave and so was he IMO.

Well, what I read from Kait is that she loves the attention of men, flirts with anyone that is willing, takes off her panties in public with no second thought and just generally loves to be wild. That's fine!! However, her wires now are all crossed on this show and what's going on imo. This isn't LOVE with Nick, although that's what tptb told her it is so she would be motivated to keep him, it's just her being Kait- loving attention and having fun.

There are people that I like, that maybe I'm sympathetic to / fond of, people that I find enjoyable. (example to name few: Nick, Kaitlyn, Sharleen, Des&Chris, Brooks, MM - little that I've seen of her in her videos, since I didn't follow her season, Ashley S)
There are people that I don't like, who because of my character I find them irksome or aren't pleasant to me and who I wouldn't long for to be friends with. (exp: Chris S, Kelsey, Andi in some occasions)
And then there are people that either really rub me the wrong way to the point of despise, so I tempt to ignore them completely and stay far away from (they remain nameless, because they don't deserve the honor) or people, who don't ignite any particular emotion in me and my interest for them is on the border of boredom (exp: Britt & Brady, JoshM)

I usually comment on 1st & 2nd group of people and don't bother with the last two, which says a lot about the 2nd group too ... they are not the worse (I still see the human in them or find them interesting enough, just not likeable)

So ... I don't know why people comment or post online, but as long they write, think, talk about Nick ... maybe it can be taken as a good sign.

His character opens a discussion and that always leads to some better change. I believe that good communication is vital for human interaction and progress. So I really appreciate this forum.

For me Nick's choosing to discuss such an intimate, personal time speaks to me about what kind of person he is, regardless of the situation, whether Andi was right of wrong, and the lack on communications leading up ATFR. I only hope that Kaitlyn really thought through everything before she invited him to join them and wasn't just acting on attraction and lust. The next few weeks will hopefully answer that.

I think, 10 out of 10 bachelorette leads were there for the paycheck, then the attention, and to flirt with a bunch of hot guys.
Great if they found the one, like Ashley and Des.
But I think they all love the attention and had fun traveling, flirting. So Kait is not the only one.

As for Nick, I think we really have not enough information to judge it is lust, limelight, or love.
Even if RS is right, doesn't mean it's not love between these two.
It may be and can be something else.
I think it's just not fair to say it's not love when Nick is involved.

I will say, Time will tell.
But I have been following Nick for a year now, I don't see what benefits he had from last seasonw except all the hates.
