A little help please....sorry if this has already been discusses but I haven't seen a reference to it. When Ashley lays on JPs chest she says something to him. I'm no lip reader and I don't have HD or large screen so thought someone with those capabilities have caught what she was saying. It's around 12:16 mark on CodeBears overnight video. Thanks

I have been trying to figure that out too. She definitely said something. Sould like a good Saturday afternoon project. I will make the sacrifice for everyone and try to dissect this moment better.

I was just going to post the same thing. After JP says "I want you", Ashley lays on his chest and I think she says "I want you". Check it out do ya'll agree?

Great catch! I watched it with the volume off and I think that's exactly what she said. So Cute! :cc3:

I have probably listened to this over 200x today. On TV and my computer and I can't figure it out. No, I do not think she says I want you. I tried that, forever, and other words that would "fit" the moment, but I just can't make it out cause of the dang JP PI. Darn him. She says something pauses and then says something else. Last set of words may be "how about you?" as it relates to what she originally says. I will continue to try and figure it out. It's a great moment to play over and over and over again.

I'm pretty sure she says, "I want you". Just look at her mouth.... turn the sound off so the PI doesn't distract you.

Yep, it's not hard to watch that scene over and over and even if "I want you" isn't what she says, I'll go along with that as it so true.

Do you think that during their time alone they discuss their true feelings? It seems like it would be so difficult for Ashley to completely hold back her feelings.

I decided to take one for the team and see if I could help with the analysis so I forced myself to watch this again. Of course, you have to re-watch the entire date to achieve the full ambiance of the moment. After watching a dozen times, I can say with absolutely certainty - I have no clue what Ashely says. If I watched with sound I got distracted by that noise Ashley makes after JP says, "I want you." And if I watched without sound I got distracted by, well, JP!

I did learn a coupla other things though. First, Ashley seriously needs some self-tanner. I mean, if your going to put your boobs out there, even up those tan lines. Second, JP is quite comfortable resting his hands on Ashley's, uh, let's call it her lower back. And Ashley is quite comfortable with it also!

One really nice thing, though, is that their evening conversation is one of the few in Bachelor/ette history that has made sense. Thank you, Ashley, for telling JP to not make the mistake you made during Brad's season and going nuts at the very end. Hey! Maybe that's what she says! "I want you to stay." :tackle:

I also played along and watched again, but I can't tell what she says. However, I had a funny thought while watching.

Seeing JP standing on the beach with a bottle of sunscreen in hand I was reminded of discussion on the Board about 'oh we could have seen the rubbing sunscreen scene with JP instead'. But they didn't need to show them rubbing sunscreen on each other...it was more like 'hurry up and get sunscreened up so we can get in the water and straddle each other'. Which then made me think of the mud bath date. They are putting Ashley in situations, or at least showing situations, where she and Ben have to rub all over each other. Meanwhile, with JP they don't have to show those kinds of things because no matter where they are they can't stop rubbing all over each other. The difference between the two relationships, physically speaking, is night and day.

My other thought from re-watching was that I could stand to see a lot more shirtless JP.
