Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe won’t be traveling to exotic destinations this season, and the location of her final rose ceremony may disappoint fans who are hoping to see a happy ending in a romantic setting.

Instead of a magnificent trip to Belize, or a romantic one-on-one date in Prague, Kaitlyn and her guys only traveled outside the U.S. once during filming. Three episodes were filmed in Ireland, and while that’s an exciting trip to take on ABC’s dime, it certainly doesn’t come close to trips taken by former stars of the Bachelor franchise.

Bachelor Sean Lowe traveled to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Thailand during his season, but “the most hated” Bachelor, Juan Pablo took his ladies to South Korea, Vietnam, New Zealand, and St. Lucia. Bachelorette Andi Dorfman traveled to France, Italy, Belgium, and Dominican Republic, but that was the end of the road for exotic destinations. Bachelor Chris Soules stayed in the U.S. for all but one episode — his overnight dates were filmed in Bali.

Here’s the scoop on where Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe travels this season, including the rather uninspiring location for her final rose ceremony. [Spoilers ahead]

Two-night season premiere (May 18/19), Episode 2 (May 25), and Episode 3 (June 1) – Los Angeles.

Episode 4 – New York City (June 8). Nick Viall will join the cast on this episode.

Episode 5 – San Antonio (June 15)

Episode 6 (June 22), Episode 7 (June 29), and Episode 8, the overnight dates (July 6) all take place in Ireland.

Episode 9, the hometown dates, (July 13) take place in Park City, Utah. Hometowns come after overnights this season — the families of the final two guys are brought to Utah to meet Kaitlyn.

Episode 10 – The Men Tell All special (July 20).

Episode 11 – Season finale (July 27 ). According to Reality Steve, this season’s final rose ceremony will take place in L.A. at the Bachelor Mansion. The only time the finale has ever taken place at the mansion was on Brian Velvick’s season (6) of the Bachelor.

Spoilers indicate that there won’t be a happy ending for Kaitlyn’s final two picks. Perhaps that is the reason for the less-than-exciting final rose ceremony location, although producers made a few other changes this season.

The season started with a twist with both Kaitlyn and Britt competing for the role of the Bachelorette, and then the normal episode order was switched — hometowns were filmed after the Fantasy Suite dates, something that has never been done any season of the Bachelor or the Bachelorette.

It takes a lot to shock the woman who once told Bachelor and farmer Chris Soules, "You can plow the f-k out of my field." So as Kaitlyn Bristowe navigated the surprises of her first days as the Bachelorette - besting fellow wannabe Britt Nilsson in a vote and coping with musician Brady Toops' blindside of an exit - the spunky Vancouver, British Columbia, native says she never felt truly thrown. "I mean, you go into it thinking, It's The Bachelorette. I'm sure something dramatic will happen," she recently told Us. "You've kind of got to brace yourself for it."

Viewers would be wise to follow suit. Bristowe's season-preview confession that she - gasp! - had sex with a contestant is just one of the shockers in this round of the ABC love hunt (Mondays, 8 p.m.). A show insider crowns No. 11 "the craziest season, definitely." And it wasn't just the dancer, 30, who brought the drama. Naturally, a few of her suitors (standouts include suave architectural engineer Clint Arlis, 27, and rugged ex-football player Ben Zorn, 26) weren't there for the proverbial "right reasons." "There's always people there with the wrong reasons, right?" host and Perfect Letter author Chris Harrison recently told Us. "Thank God! It makes for great television." Us previews five curveballs.

Kaitlyn got busy fast

Bristowe didn't wait for Harrison to invite her and her overnight-date partner to stay "as a couple" in a candlelit bedroom. "She sleeps with somebody before the fantasy suite," says a show insider of that darkened-window teaser shot accompanied by a heavy-breathing soundtrack. "She wasn't wasted. She just couldn't help herself. She's very physical." Indeed, the brunette admitted, "If the physical part of the relationship isn't there for me, that's a deal-breaker."

While Bristowe told E! News on May 20 that choosing to have sex "is something that I'm not ashamed of," the insider reveals she regretted doing it so soon. "She was devastated," says the source. "She doesn't think there was anything wrong with it. She just wished it had happened further along."

Her guilt led her to disclose the between-the-sheets encounter to the other front-­runners. "She knew she had to say something just to unburden herself," says the insider. And the fact that 7 million viewers - including her final guy - would learn about the tryst also factored in. "She realized it was going to be broadcast, and she's seen these things hurt relationships. She figured it was better to be up-front." Bristowe dropped her bombshell selectively, though - "just to the guys she was serious about," says the source. She told each "one-on-one when she felt she needed to." The reaction was predictable: "They were all upset. It changed everything."

Still, Bristowe makes no apologies to judgmental fans. "I think it's just a big deal because it's The Bachelorette and they haven't really gone there," she opined to E! News after internet backlash. While the franchise's couples demurely say they'd love to spend camera-free time together as they shut the door on that intrusive lens, "it's just kind of been this secret world in the fantasy suite," says Bristowe, "and nobody's actually just said it out loud." Season 16's Courtney Robertson - who waited till her tell-all book to admit to having sex with eventual fiancé Ben Flajnik in the ocean - thinks it's about time someone did. "In real life, if you were dating for two months, it's natural," the Bachelor alum tells Us. "So for me, I'm like, 'You go, girl!'"

X-rated ANTICS abound

Skin is still in for Bristowe, who doffed her bikini bottoms for Soules on a California camping date. During the June 1 sumo wrestling match, six of the aspiring grooms don tradi­­tional mawashi. The skimpy, thonglike outfits precipitate more than a few wardrobe malfunctions - so many, in fact, that Bristowe exclaims she's seeing all the guys have to offer!

One episode earlier, the female anatomy took center stage - literally. When the guys tried stand-up at the Hollywood Improv comedy club, viewers never saw the routines performed by the female comics brought in as coaches. Which means viewers also never saw Bridget Everett motorboat Kentucky insurance agent Joe Bailey, 28, and another of Bristowe's hopefuls in front of an audience! Also coming soon: talk of chlamydia and the beauty of someone's "snake" - and an entire date centered on teaching sex ed to grade schoolers!

She and Nick flirted preshow

Andi Dorfman's second-place guy, Nick Viall - the one who berated the Bachelorette for dumping him after she took him to bed - arrives on the June 8 episode for a second try at love. But the Chicago software sales exec began his pursuit of Bristowe months before crashing her group date. When the fun-loving Canadian caught his eye during Soules' season (in a series of tweets he called her "incredible," "the bomb" and "the total package"), he tracked down her number "and they started talking," says the source, noting that they first connected in January. And while Bristowe ­categorized their relationship as "a friendship" to E! News, the insider says the texts were flirtatious: "There was a connection, but they never met."

For that, the 34-year-old had to pull some strings. Once ­Bristowe learned she had a chance at becoming the Bachelorette, Viall realized his only chance to woo her was on TV. "He was upset that she'd been chosen," says the insider. "At the time, there were five different women in the mix, and she was very much a dark horse." Viall asked producers if he could come on, says the source. "It was a surprise to Kaitlyn. But the guys were, of course, annoyed. There was a sense of unfairness to it." Bristowe told E! News a few of the men encouraged her to follow her heart, wherever it took her, but "for the majority of them, they were not impressed."

Another contestant bolts

When Toops left to pursue Nilsson, Bristowe said she'd have to find out "if everyone's here for me." At least one suitor decides he isn't. Angry with a date activity on the June 1 episode, the man skips out on potential face time with the Bachelorette. Instead, he packs his bags, declaring that he liked Bristowe but couldn't participate in a "circus." The insider reveals others were turned off

by the Bristowe show. "She rubbed a few guys the wrong way. They thought she was just there to make out with lots of guys."

A bromance develops

On the June 1 episode, Arlis gushes about the connection he has made. The problem: He isn't talking about Bristowe. He and ex-investment banker JJ Lane, 32, "basically declare their love for each other," says an insider. "It was an instantaneous and emotional connection." A set source says the pair "isolated themselves in the house." They shared the hot tub and the shower, but not a bed, says the insider: "They never acted on the feelings." Nonetheless, Arlis deems his time in the mansion a success.

The pair even scheme to prolong their stay. Though Arlis admits Bris­towe isn't a match, he does his best to convince her otherwise: "He was like, I need to stick around, so I need to act interested," says the insider. The fakery failed. "Kaitlyn didn't know about the bromance, but she knew they weren't there for her." And Bristowe says she doesn't suffer fools: "If I found out anyone was there for the wrong reasons, I would just have zero problem walking them out the door." Game on.

Bitter Booted Suitors

Ex-contestants sound off on thorny issues

He got drunk, groped Bristowe and asked a rival, "Why am I not r*ping you?" But Kansas City, Missouri, "junkyard specialist," er, car-parts dealer Ryan McDill, 28, regrets nothing. The ex of Bachelor alum Nikki Ferrell told TMZ that offended fans "need to get off their high horse. … It was awesome and entertaining."

Rebuffed on May 19's show, Chicago exotic dancer Josh Seiter, 27, promptly accused producers of coaching. "They wanted me to take my shirt off and my pants off," he said in a May 21 Southgate Media podcast. Host Chris Harrison wasn't beyond reproach: Seiter ­tweeted that he is a "diva" who treats staff like "personal servants."

Britt & Brady: In Love!

For Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops, the bloom is not off the rose! Together since early March - when the Nashville gospel musician, 33, bolted from the Bachelorette mansion to pursue the ­voted-off L.A. waitress, 27 - the two are dating long-distance. On March 23 at L.A.'s Neveux Artisan Creamery & Espresso Bar, she enjoyed a chocolate cone while he savored her company. "They were acting flirty," says an onlooker.

"His arm was on her leg." Two weeks later, they cheered the Nashville Predators hockey team at an April 9 home game. Muses the show in­sider, "If Britt had been the Bachelorette, there's a good chance she would've picked Brady. They have an insane amount of chemistry."
