Sneak Peek 5/25: Boxing with Laila Ali
Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and a few of the guys from the house head out on a group date to go boxing. They've got a great teacher: World Champ Laila Ali -- daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. She's such a great teacher that Kupah focuses on his boxing form so much that he kinda forgets that Kaitlyn is there, which probably is not a good thing. From Week 2 of the 2015 season of The Bachelorette.

What was competing for the spot of the Bachette like? Not ideal, not the way she pictured it, but it all worked out.
Some guys chose Brit, how are you going to move forward with them? Will you be able to see these guys as contenders?
Yes, they didn’t get a lot of time to know the girls, so had to make a quick decision. Some people had a better initial connection, but that doesn’t mean you can’t move forward in another relationship. Fine with it didn’t fault any of them for it. A couple of them were honest with me and they did move forward, so it’s fine.
Are you concerned about having enough time to really know how you feel about a particular guy in this group?
No, I trust my heart and I trust what I want. I got used to the cameras last season so this time I felt like I knew what I was looking for. Within seconds of talking to these guys I could tell if there was a connection or not.
What are you looking for? What do you want these guys to know about the real you?
I’m looking for a lot of things. I want a best friend, someone I trust, someone who’s loyal. Somone who can keep up with me and my personality. Has a sense of humur and can challenge me in many ways. Want them to know that she’s serious about finding a husband. Ready for that in her life. Done a lot of things that others haven’t. Travelled and really knows herself and is sure of herself. Ready for the next chapter.
What will happen if you have to make a big change demographically? Are you open to that?
Yes. Lived in Germany for awhile with last relationship. It’s compromise. If we’re both happy in that location, that’s all that matters, really.
How sure are you that Mr Right is going to be one of these guys?
Have you seen these guys? They’re all pretty great, I’m hopeful. I was so lucky.

How far into the process do you start to learn who voted for who? Do you have any concerns if any of your top guys voted for Britt?
No. One was honest about it. The others weren’t, but doesn’t concern me. Didn’t have a lot of time. Couldn’t expect them all to vote for her. Knew some would connect more with Britt. Moving forward, almost didn’t want to know so she could start her own relationships.
What was it about Shawn B that first night?
Was just a feeling. Had a connection that she can’t explain as soon as he walked out of the limo. There for her, how he carried himself, how comfortable she was around him.
Favorite Dates?
With Amy Schumer – she’s hilarious, loves comedy, so much fun.
About Nick – knew him before – why didn’t you enter relationship before?
Friendship. Could relate to show. Had put it out of her mind. Once they weren’t talking anymore he realized there was something more and maybe it was more than a friendship. He went with a strong feeling.
See in the preview that she told the guys it went further. Why did you tell them? What was their reaction?
I think you should start any relationship with honesty. There’s an unspoken agreement that it happens in the FS, but not before. I wanted to be honest if she was to be engaged to a different guy, she wanted to be upfront and honest about that before watching it back or before they would propose.
Did you tell them as a group or individually?
You’ll have to see on that one.
Are you happy with the outcome? Can you say if you found love or what can you tell us?
I can tell you to watch and find out and that it ended the way I think it should.

thank you for writing this up! when i watched the video i didn't pick this up ...wasn't she saying yesterday that she GUESSED with a big emphasis that he missed her when she was gone? now she's saying that's exactly how it happened? is it a way of downplaying it like a way of being humble - it def sounds like what Nick had told her from the way she's telling it...


so funny but she's def half-truth-ing all over the place when it comes to explaining this bit...

I can tell you to watch and find out and that it ended the way I think it should.

I guess this is going to be her standard answer.

The part I can't figure out is that EVERY time I watch an interview of her talking about Nick she has a smirk on her face. I wouldn't call it a smile really either...more of a smirk. I'm really curious to know what that's all about.

 that made me remember the smirk face Andi had on her at last year's AFTR with Nick....hope Kaitlyn has not been taking lessons from Andi

It will be interesting to see the end this season, and if there was a successful foiler campaign or not.

My memory is not the best but didn't Ali have a similar standard response when it was spoiled she chose no  one? Can't remember the words but I seem to remember Ali having a response she used about ending that could have been read that she chose no one and was ok with that ending.

I just watched the preview again. It's easy to see how they want you to think one thing but thats not what happened. Like the majority of viewers will think she had sex with a guy, she told him to run away, he ran away naked and then she sat down and told the other guys.
Also, I don't think a lot of the negative talk was about Nick. A lot of splice and dice there!

Has anyone listed who said what comments in all the voice overs?

yup she used to say something very similar then later on she changed her tune to "i'm very happy with the ending"
