@LoveDovez They're definitely my favorite couple ever and the first couple I ever became a fan of. I remember when Art was announced as the bachelor and I was like, ok I guess I will watch and sleuth and I hope he is alright and I get to see a love story. Then Matilda walked on and Art was falling all over himself and they were giggling away with each other, sparks flying and I was hooked and for the first time ever after watching this show for years, I was invested in a lead/F1 lovestory. Art and Matilda were more than alright they both exceptional in every way and have never disappointed me. They were delightful to watch (and now follow) and theirs was the sweetest love story I've ever seen. One for the history books. They set the bar for me - how to be a lead, how to be a F1, on show and off show, and are the gold standard to me. I've never had any doubts about them - they just fit like nothing I'd seen before (other than fictional movies). They're just good humans and I'm so glad I got to follow their journey from the getgo - it's been wonderful 

Thanks for the updates to all who still are in the “know” . I adore these people and totally agree with you about how they set the bar with their genuine, down to earth charming selves. They are so gorgeous but real and authentic and seem to stay away from all the fake hoopla’s that is too often around these celebrities. I remember how I started to watch this show, by chance on rerun while visiting relatives in Canada. I couldn’t believe how different that was from the USA Bach / Ette shows. I wish I could see the other seasons here now as well. It’s good to know they are still happy together. Thanks for sharing.

ETA I came in as I saw their name on the board and thought...maybe a date is announced for their wedding...? In due time we will know.

@George1218 I'm not sure of the date it will air. The 2018 season aired in April so it may be then if not earlier. The website doesn't have any details just yet other than it will air in 2019 (website: https://www.threenow.co.nz/tv/dancing-with-the-stars-nz/home.html ) The website is where the episodes air live but most likely will have to be in NZ to watch them live. Hopefully those of us who can't watch live will be able to watch on YT other other sites. Will be sure to add the links if so    

@GuardianAngel np  they'll always be my first favorites and gold standard couple. Matilda has been the brand ambassador for a few years now, also for Jockey (she's their main model) and a lot of other things too as well as Art. Both thriving and doing so well. I know Matilda had said their wedding date is in the new year too so lots going on. Lovely couple

Matilda Rice has revealed she won't be competing in Dancing With The Stars NZ this year for one very good reason - she's expecting her first child with new husband Art Green.

The Bachelor NZ season one sweethearts shared the news in a cover story for Woman's Day that hit stands on Sunday, which has photos from their secret wedding on Waiheke Island on Friday.

"We're having a baby," Matilda told the women's magazine.

"Art and I are absolutely over the moon. We always knew we wanted to start a family, but never imagined we'd be lucky enough to share our special day with our wee son or daughter. It's truly so special to have all three of us here."

They met thanks to New Zealand's first-ever TV series of The Bachelor – and four years on, Art Green and Matilda Rice have officially become husband and wife.

In a Woman's Day exclusive, the happy couple have shared their romantic wedding day – and also the surprise news that they are to become proud parents, with Matilda due in September. The bride and groom announced the pregnancy to family and friends at the reception during their beachside Waiheke wedding on Friday.

Matilda, 28, told Woman's Day, "Art and I are absolutely over the moon. We always knew we wanted to start a family, and it's so special to have all three of us here at the wedding."

Art, 31, agrees, "Having a baby is the ultimate way to cement our family. It's been an incredible ride as just the two of us, so we know it's only going to get better when we become three."

"I'm forever indebted to The Bachelor for bringing me Matty," confessed Art to Woman's Day on his wedding day. "Falling in love with Matty is more than I could've ever hoped for."

Woman's Day Editor-in-chief Sido Kitchin says she is delighted to publish official coverage of Art and Matilda's wedding day.
