I remember when he thought she would have to leave when she broke her arm. He looked like"I'm going with you" LOL I've often wondered what he would have done if she had had to leave at that point.

I think Art answered this when he told Matilda on their 2nd date that when she broke her arm he was most worried that she would leave and that if she left the whole show would be over for him. Like he said at the end to Matilda "It's always been you". I know a lot of leads say that to rewrite history etc but for Art and Matilda it was plain to see (even to the women on the show who said such) that it was always Matilda   

I also love that Matilda herself told Art she wasn't going to leave no matter her broken arm, Matty saw Art was a rare breed as she said to him on that 2nd date and Art told Matty she is also a rare breed. I think they both couldn't believe how lucky they were to find each other on this crazy show (they really are so lucky/meant-to-be). To think they waited until their second date to even have their first kiss - best kiss ever for the both of them and now engaged and have their own company and just living life so wonderfully - always smiling, laughing and each other's best friend. They're like happiness personified

Some updates... Matilda is still filming Heartbreak Island NZ and Art joined her in the undisclosed location (both sweating like crazy from the heat ). 

Here's a vid Art posted on his IG from when he and Matilda were at the lake together. She's such a natural beauty. I remember Matilda on the show during the pool party group date (when she did her Haiku rap ) and how gorgeous she looked with zero makeup. She glows from within   Art with his favorite person

Whenever you get a chance @GuardianAngel could we get a thread for Heartbreak Island NZ (maybe in the same area of the board where Love Island AUS is?). There is a post upthread with Matilda being announced as one of the hosts and some pics with links to the show's IG and website www.tvnz.co.nz/shows/heartbreak-island. I'd like to post info there in the thread for the season to sleuth and watch when it airs and anyone else welcome to join

@Jolena no specific date given yet (I believe they have a wedding date set but they're not saying publicly yet from what Matilda has said recently). I'd guess the wedding date is likely within the next year. I think the timeline's pretty typical and similar to Mat and Art's kiwi friends... live together for ~ 2 years then get engaged then married 2 years or so later. I can't wait for the wedding. I'm sure it will be a gorgeous wedding for an even more gorgeous couple

art_green Ran the Tauranga half marathon this morning - got a PB of 1:45 which I’m stoked with. @matootles ran a PB in the 6k, and @coach.rhys ran so fast his hair blew off. Great vibes all round
