I was cracking up as well when I watched it. Too hilarious!! My fav couple along with G and Lee (ETA: adding Nick and V to that list!) - they also have the romantic and the super fun/dorky/gangsta/dag thing going on which I love. Since IG has stories and they've been posting on them, Art and Matilda's sense of humor really shines through much more than I ever saw before and they are so fun, very sarcastic and poke fun at themselves and each other (sometimes to the point that it seems like they are roasting each other - figuratively) it's hilarious. You can tell they are best friends (how they would act with a guy friend or girl friend) as well as partners. I love that about them

What has made them the best couple is because they weren't focused on marriage. They just got to know each other and just live their lives without any pressure. They are just truly the best couple because they are best friends and just happy go lucky. It really was a blessing that they have found each other.

Matilda did an interview this past year where she talked about how difficult things were for her for many months post-show and how hard it was to get through. She said it took quite a long time before she and Art got to a place where things weren't as difficult and years down the track are better than ever and those difficulties made them stronger.

What was really eye opening to me was that Matilda was the fan favorite, the whole country loved her, she was called the sweetheart of NZ and there was so much positive media about her and Art in Woman's Day etc especially when compared to other franchises. Even though everything is relative, it really made me realize how extremely difficult those who aren't fan favorites like Matilda was must have it -- especially if those leads/F1s got backlash or negative media/SM for months down the road post-show.

Having fun and having a sense of humor really helps I think and Matty and Art are a prime example of this. It's one of my favorite traits about them as a couple

Matilda and the money for the dryer! and her saying "Get down and show them how many pushups you can do!"  
I know it's just a skit, but if you've watched their stories on IG you'd see how much this is so typical of them. Especially the pushups part!
These two make me laugh. So much fun!
